The Century Correctional Institute is one of the two major industries in Century. The prison employs many people from the Century area as well as people from the surrounding areas.
The prison holds many activities for the employees who work for the prison families. One of these such activities is an annual hayride at Halloween. This hayride includes spooks, monsters, and other frightening creatures to put the people in the Halloween spirit. After the hayride the families meet at a designated spot for games and food. This activity is a major event among the children.
