Schools

Currently there are no schools located directly in the vacinity of Enon. There are students who live in the area of Enon ,but these students attend Bratt Elementary, Ernest Ward Middle and Northview High School. The only former school that existed in Enon was in what is now known as the Enon Country Manor. The school consisted of a few rooms, and one teacher taught various grade levels. Students used slates as their notebooks. Water pumps provided fresh water for the students, or a nearby creek was also available. There used to be a school. Towards the end of the year 1885, the Muscogee Lumber Company in Muscogee, Florida gave the Escambia County School Board one acre of land to construct a school house.
