The Tate Aggie beat Navarre in varsity, junior varsity and freshmen baseball Thursday, and Northview beat the Hoboes of Laurel Hill.

Tate 1, Navarre 0 (9 innings)

The Tate Aggie shut out Navarre 1-0 Thursday night.

Three Aggie pitchers – Josiah Glodfelter, Sam Shackle and Ethan George — combined for 18 strikeouts

Glodfelter, Chase Tolbert, Zak Licastro, Jadon Fryman and Cole Fryman each had one hit for the Aggies.

Tate 0, Navarre 0 (JV)

In junior varsity action, Tate and Navarre played to a 0-0 tie in seven innings

Northview 17, Laurel Hill 3

The Northview Chiefs beat the Laurel Hill Hoboes 17-3 in a run-ruled shortened game Thursday night in Laurel Hill.

Ben Wilson earned the win for the Chiefs, allowing four hits and three runs in five innings while striking out eight.

Jamarkus Jefferson led Northview at the plate with four runs. Who’s Got Spirit? The Tate Aggies Do. And They Earned $1,000 For It.

Jersey Mike’s Subs presented $1,000 to the athletic department at Tate High School Thursday for a being a Most Spirited School. The Tate cheerleaders, basketball players, softball players and baseball players were on hand for the presentation. Tate Girls Tennis Remains Undefeated With 7-0 Win Over Navarre

The Tate High School varsity girls tennis team remained undefeated after a Thursday win over Navarre.

Up next, it’s a matchup between the top of the district from last year as district champ Gulf Breeze takes on district runner-up Tate Friday night.

Northview Boys Weightlifting Improves To 2-1 With All-Class Sweep Of Jay

The Northview Chiefs Boys Weightlifting team defeated the Jay Royals on Wednesday afternoon by a score of 75-7.

The Chiefs won all 10 weight classes.

The Chiefs improved to 2-1 on the season, after defeating Pensacola High School and falling to Escambia High School last week.

The team returns to action next Wednesday, travelling to Milton to take on the Milton Panthers and Jay Royals in a tri-meet.

Tate Lady Aggies Beat The Dolphins In Gulf Shores

The Tate Lady Aggies defeated the Gulf Shores Dolphins 10-9 on the Alabama coast Wednesday night.

Abbie Burks pitched a complete game win for the Lady Aggies, allowing nine runs on nine hits and striking out five.

Christina Mason, Avery Beauchaine and Sophia Jones had three hits each for the Lady Aggies. Courtney Lundquist and Taylor Noack had two each.

Tate Softball Takes Two From Escambia; Flomaton Baseball Beats Northview

The Tate Lady Aggies beat Escambia 5-1 Tuesday night.

Avery Beauchaine earned the win for the Aggies, pitching a complete game allowing four hits and one run while striking out eight.

BASEBALL

Flomaton 6, Northview 3

The Flomaton Hurricanes defeated the Northview Chiefs 6-3 Tuesday night after falling behind in the bottom of the second.

Alex Cash went six innings for the Hurricanes, striking out five while allow three runs on one hit. Jackson Steele tossed on inning in relief.

Cash went 1-4 with one run at the plate. Also for Flomaton: Sam Smith 2-4, 2RBI, 3B; Jackson Steele 2-3, 2R; Jerry Carnley 1-3, R, RBI; Dalton Kent 1-1 , R; Will Rolin 1-2, R; Will Smith RBI.

Northview’s Adam Aliff went for  two innings, allow three runs on one hit while striking out four. Bradley Freeman threw four innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out two.

For Northview: Jamarkus Jefferson, 1-4, R; Bryce Korinchak R; Dalton Burke R; Adam Alif RBI.

Tate Girls Tennis At 2-0 After Win Over Washington

The Tate High Aggies girls tennis team is off to a 2-0 start to their season after 3-2 win over Washington Tuesday.

The Aggies had big wins with Emily Grover (8-8, 10-8), Kasidy Butler (8-5), and Taji Williams, who was down 3-1 but charged back to an 8-5 win.

Tate’s next match is at Navarre on Thursday.

The Tate Aggie defeated the Milton Panthers 4-2 Saturday afternoon.

Ethan George tossed took the win for the Aggies allowing no hits, no runs and striking out one. Cole Fryman tossed two innings allowing one hit and striking out four. Josiah Glodfelter pitched four innings, allowing two runs and striking out three.

At the plate for the Aggies: Jadon Fryman 2-1, R; Chase Tolbert RBI; Jordan Jarman R; Adam Nisewonger 1-2, RBI; Drew Reaves R, Frankie Randall, R.

Northview Chiefs Beat Rocky Bayou 16-1 In No-Hitter (With Photo Gallery)

The Northview Chiefs tossed a no-hitter Friday night in a 16-1 win over Rocky Bayou Christian School in four innings.

Bradley Freeman earned the win for the Chiefs,  allowing no hits and no runs while striking out nine in three and two-thirds innings. Ben Wilson threw the last third of the fourth inning, striking out one.
