Tate Baseball Beats Gulf Breeze; Tate Softball Falls To Niceville

Tate 4, Gulf Breeze 2
The Tate Aggies beat the Gulf Breeze Dolphins 4-2 Thursday night in Gulf Breeze.
Zane Warrington earned the win for the Aggies, giving up three hits and two runs in seven innings, striking out nine and walking none.
Kaleb Posta recorded two RBIs for Tate, going 1-3 for the night. Madox Land went 2-4 for the Aggies. Posta, Trey Rebber, Ketch King, Conner Hasell and Clif Quinggins each had a hit.
Up next for Tate is the Aggie Classic.
SOFTBALL
Niceville 2, Tate 1
Niceville topped the Tate Lady Aggies 2-1 Thursday night in Niceville.
Kara Wine had a solo homer to left field to put the Aggies on the board in the first inning. Wine went 2-3 on the night. Amburleigh Larid and Jordan Smith each had one hit.
Smith took the loss for Tate. She went for six innings, giving up two runs on 10 hits, striking out three and walking one.

Tate Tennis Boys And Girls Defeat Navarre
March 15, 2024
The Tate Aggies boys and girls tennis teams defeated Navarre Thursday afternoon. The boys won 7-0, and the girls were victorious 4-3.
Next up, the Aggies will take on Washington Friday at the Roger Scott Tennis Center in Pensacola.

Tate Falls To Crestview On The Road

The Crestview Bulldogs defeated the Tate Aggies 7-1 Wednesday night in Crestview.
Kaleb Posta took the loss for the Aggies, giving up three runs on four hits, striking out one and walking two over four innings.
Conner Hassell went 2-3 at bat for the Aggies with a double. Brayden Beck was 1-3 with one RBI, and Madox Land was 1-3. Sheppard Edgar went for one and a third inning on the mound, surrendering one hit and four runs, striking out one and walking three. Logan Kimmons tossed two-thirds of an inning, giving up one hit, no runs, striking out one and walking one.
Tate will be at Gulf Breeze Thursday at 7 p.m.
Tate Aggies Tennis Boys and Girls Defeat Escambia Gators

The Tate Aggies tennis boys and girls teams both defeated the Escambia Gators this week.
The boys were victorious 7-0, and the girls won 5-2 at Escambia.
The boys record improves to 6-1 so far for the season, and the girls are now 4-3.
Up next, the Tate varsity will be at Navarre Thursday.

Tate Lady Aggies Beat Pine Forest 11-1 (With Gallery)

The Tate Lady Aggies beat the Pine Forest Eagles 11-1 Tuesday night at Tate.
Peyton Womack earned the win for the Aggies, going a complete game six innings. She surrendered one hit and one run, striking out nine and walking four.

Ellie Rudd took the loss for Pine Forest, giving up four runs and one hit in four innings while striking out one and walking six.
Lacy Wilson led the Aggies at the plate, going 2-4. Womack, Kara Wine, Amburleigh Laird, Olivea Latner, Kate Balagbagan and Aubree Jordan each added a hit.
Rudd led the Eagles at bat, going 1-3.
West Florida will beat Milton on Wednesday, and the Lady Aggies will travel to Niceville on Thursday.

Tate Aggies Fall 5-4 To West Florida (With Photo Gallery)

The Tate Aggies fell to the West Florida Jaguars 5-4 Tuesday night at Tate.
Cramer earned the win for the Jags, giving up three hits and a run in four and one-third innings while striking out three and walking none.

Neal Croom started on the mound for the Aggies. He went four and two-thirds innings, giving up four hits and one run, striking out four and walking five. Nate Conners took the loss for the Aggies. In one and one-third innings, he gave up two runs on two hits, struck out one and walked two.
Bray Touchstone put the Aggies on the board in the first inning with a homerun to center field, scoring two runs. Maddox Land had a solo home run to right field in the bottom of the night.
Ketch King went 2-4 for Tate, and Clif Quiggins went 3-5.
Adam Geiger led the Jags at the plate, going 3-5.
The Tate Aggies travel to Crestview on Wednesday, and West Florida will host Choctaw on Thursday.

Northview Beats Baker 5-2, Tate Tops Fort Walton
March 12, 2024
Monday night, the Northview Chiefs beeat Baker, and the Tate Aggies topped Fort Walton.
Northview 5, Baker 2
Jamison Gilman struck out 10 Baker batters as the Northview Chiefs beat the Gators 5-2 Monday on a cool evening in Bratt.
Gilman gave up five hits and a run while walking two in six innings.

Mikayl McAnnally pitched one inning in relief for the Chiefs, allowing two hits, one run and striking out three.
Gilan was 2-4 at the plate to lead the Chiefs at bat. McAnnally, Chloe Ragsdale, Daviona Randolph, and Riley Brooks drove in one run each.
Northview stole seven total bases during the game, with Gilman and Brooks stealing multiple bases.
Choctaw will be at Northview on Thursday, and the Lady Chiefs will travel to Jay Friday night.
Tate 6, Fort Walton 4
The Tate Lady Aggies beat Fort Walton Beach 6-4 Monday night in Cantonment.
Jordan Smith earned the win for the Aggies in seven innings, surrendering nine hits and four runs while striking out one and walking two.
At bat for Tate, Peyton Womack led with three hits with four at bats. Kara Wine had three RBIs. and Smith was 2-4.
The Lady Aggies will host Pine Forest on Tuesday and travel to Niceville on Thursday.

Play Ball! Saturday Was Opening Day At Century, NEP And Molino
March 10, 2024
Saturday was opening day for the spring ball season at several local ballparks.
NEP Ball Park, Century Baseball Association at Showalter Park and the Molino Ballpark all celebrated opening day on Saturday. Skies were cloudy for festivities and games, but the rain had cleared.
Northwest Escambia Bradberry Park will mark its opening day on March 16.

Northview Blanks L.E.A.D. Academy 15-0

The Northview Chiefs blanked L.E.A.D. Academy of Pace 15-0 in four innings Thursday night in Bratt.
Gage Harrison earned the win for the Chiefs, allowing no hits and no runs in one inning while striking out two and walking two. Jadyden White went for three inning in relief, allowing one hit and no runs while striking out five and walking two.
Jase Portwood went 2-3 at bat for the Chiefs. Dane King, Colby Pugh, Brady Smith, Rylan Minor and Grayden Sheffield each added two runs for the Northview Chefs.
The Chiefs are scheduled to be at Central Friday at 6:30 p.m.
