Tate Softball Beats Mantansas

The Tate Lady Aggies defeated the Mantansas Pirates 13-2 Thursday night.

Avery Beauchanie pitched the win in six innings, allowing two runs on one hit while striking out three. She als led the Aggies at the plate going 3-4. The Aggies had a couple of hits each from Amber Decoux and Gabby Locke.

Baseball: Tate Freshmen, Pine Forest Get Wins

The Tate Aggie freshmen team improved to 7-0-1 Wednesday night with a 3-0 win over Navarre.

Josiah Glodfelter pitched the shutout for the Aggies. He went four innings, allowing four hits, no runs, no errors, walking one and striking out eight.

For Tate: Warren Henke 2-4, R; Dagan Gay, 1-4, 2R; Paul Whitson 1-2, RBI; Kirk Mosley 1-2; Glodfelter 1-3, RBI; Tucker Griffin 1-2; Wiley Griffin 1-2, 3B.

Pine Forest 5, Christian Education Consortium of Kentucky 2

The Pine Forest Eagles beat the Christian Education Consortium of Kentucky 5-2 Wednesday night in the Adidas Beach Blast Tournament.

Jared Riddell got the win for Pine Forest. He went five and a third innings, allowing two runs on nine hits, striking out six and walking zero. Timmy Williams threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen. Williams recorded the last five outs to earn the save for the Eagles.

Jason Roberts, John Pinette led the Eagles with three hits each.

Northview Lady Chiefs Now 5-0 In District With Big Win Over Baker

The Northview Lady Chiefs beat Baker 18-4 in four innings Tuesday night.

The Chiefs are 11-3 overall, 5-0 and on top in district play.

Kendall Enfinger earned the win for the Lady Chiefs.

At the plate, Nevaeh Brown went 3-3 with two RBIs. Also for Northview: Heather Knowles 2-4, 3RBI; Aubree Love 2-3, 3RBI; Kailyn Watson 1-2, RBI; Enfinger 1-2, 1RBI; Kaitlin Gafford 1-3, 2RBI; Payton Gilchrist 1-2, RBI.

Northview Shuts Out Flomaton

The Northview Chiefs shut out Flomaton 9-0 Thursday in Bratt.

Nick Venable led on the pitcher’s mound for Northview. He surrendered no runs and not hits over two and two-thirds innings while walking one and striking out five. Jacob Bryant tossed three innings allowing tow hits and no runs with four strikeouts. Taylor Wilson tossed one and a third innings with one hit and one strikeout.

Evan Tatum led on the mound for Flomaton. He surrendered three runs on six hits over four innings, striking out three and walking zero. Jackson Steele threw two innings out of the bullpen. Steele pitched two innings, allowing five hits and six runs with three strikeouts.

Jackson Moore, Adam Aliff and Tanner Levins led the Chiefs with two hits each.

In junior varsity action, Northview beat Flomaton 6-1.

The Northview Chiefs will host the Baker Gators Thursday in a district matchup.

Denmark Defeats Tate

Denmark (Alpharetta, GA) defeated the Tate Aggies Tuesday night 11-2.

Jordan Jarman started the game for Tate, lasting two innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out one. Jace Dunsford, Ethan George, and Brantley Culbertson each contributed in relief.

Raymond Lafleur led the Aggies with three hits. Mason Land and Hunter McLean added two each, and Jadon Fryman had one hit for Tate.

The Northview Chiefs swept two from Excel, AL, Monday in Bratt.

The varsity Chiefs defeated Excel 10-5.

Tori Herrington earned the win with 10 strikeouts.

At the plate for Northview: Ashley Ragsdale 2-2, RBI; Heather Knowles 1-2, 3B; Aubree Love 3-4, 2RBI; 2B; Kailyn Watson 1-3, Kendall Enfinger 1-4; Lydia Smith 1-1; Payton Gilchrist 1-3, RBI; Kaitlyn Gafford 1-2, RBI; Rylee Huskey 1-1.

In junior varsity action, the Northview Chiefs beat Excel 12-0 after an explosive second inning.

Conner Wright pitched the win on the mound for the Aggies. He lasted four innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out four and walking one. Chase Lombardo threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Paul Whitson and Kirk Mosley went 2-2 at the plate for the freshmen Aggies. Warren Henke, Dagan Guy, Jaxson Stafford, Brent Vinson, Josiah Glodfelter, Tucker Griffin and Wiley Griffin all had one hit each for Tate.
