Angelynn Jubilee lived 31 weeks in the comfort of her mother’s womb and was received in the arms of her loving heavenly father on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Ronald Cone. She is survived by her loving parents, Clifford and Jamie Cone; her siblings, Cherokee, Caleb, Elijah, Liliannah and Benjamin; her grandparents, Victoria (Kurt) Miller, Mark (Sandra) Pepper and Vickie Pepper; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside service will be Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Bayview Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Tim Zacharis officiating.

Harry E. Mason

June 25, 2018

Harry E. Mason went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 21, 2018. He was born on Sept. 13, 1941, in Escambia County, Florida to the late Murlen A. Mason and Marquerite Nettles Mason. Harry worked for the United States Postal Service retiring with 35 years of service. He was an avid reader of his Bible and books that pertained to the Life of Christ. He served his country in the United States Army.

Harry is survived by his wife, Betty Mason; daughter, Leslie Mason; son, Daniel Paul Mason; four grandchildren, Ainsley, Alistar, Elizabeth, and Haley; sister, Shirley Forbes; brother, Marshall (Diane) Mason; step-children, Yvette (Ronnie) Pritchett, Sidney (Sharon) Benware III, and Margaret (Marcus) Lewis; step-grandchildren, Marissa (Jimmy) Morgan, Traci (Ryne) Norton, Taylor (Justin) Mertins, R.J. Pritchett, Brooke Lewis, Nolan Benware, and Morgan Benware; and step great-grandchildren, Owen, Ansley and Ace Morgan, and Tori Norton.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 25, 2018, at East Side Assembly of God Church with Pastor Kenneth Johnson officiating.

Burial was in Barrancas National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Edmonson, Sidney Benware, III, R. J. Pritchett, Marcus Lewis, Marshall Mason, and Jimmy Morgan.

Honorary pallbearer will be Nolan Benware.

Michael Fox

Mr. Michael “Mike” Fox, age 53, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at his home in Crossroads, Alabama.

Mr. Fox was a native of Bay Springs, FL and had resided in Crossroads, AL for the past 19 years. He was of the Protestant faith. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frankie and Ruby Lewis and one uncle, Rodger Lewis.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Elizabeth and Ronnie Faulk of Walnut Hill, FL; one son, Michael R. Fox of Bay Minette, AL; one daughter, Felicia Rolin of Bay Minette, AL; one brother, Jeffrey Fox of Atmore, AL; one sister, Sandy and Chris Brown of Oak Grove, FL; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Mr. Ronnie Faulk officiating.

Burial will follow at the Bay Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Brown, Dale Brown, Dawson Brown, Frankie Nicholson, Jason Nicholson and Kevin Nicholson.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the animal shelters.

Cynthia Ann O’Brien Wheeler

Cynthia “Cindy” Ann O’Brien Wheeler, 60, passed away peacefully June 23, 2018, after a long battle with diabetes. Cindy was born May 3, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend.

She was an active member of Bellview Baptist Church, where she served as Vacation Bible School director for many years. She was also a member of the Northwest Florida Area Team for Operation Christmas Child.

Cindy spent many years working in customer service at Walmart.

She is preceded in death by her father, Roy O’Brien.

She is survived by her four children, Anthony (Megan) Wheeler, Marissa Grant, Brittany Wheeler and Kristin Wheeler; and five grandchildren, Kylee Wheeler, Bella Grant, AJ Wheeler, Tripp Grant, and Braxton Grant. She is also survived by her mother, Emma Jean O’Brien; and three siblings, Sharon (Larry) Marshall, Jeff (Lisa) O’Brien, and Jimmy (Cassie) O’Brien.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child.

A memorial service to honor Cindy’s life will take place at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, June 26, 2018, beginning at 11 a.m. Visitation for friends will begin at 10a.m. Pastor Steve Bruce will officiate.

Dora Ann Rolin

Mrs. Dora Ann Rolin, age 88, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, in Century, Florida.

Mrs. Rolin was a native of Grove Hill, AL and lived in Century, FL most of her life. She was a long time resident of Poarch, AL. She was a member of the Poplar Dell Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Grady Rolin; two sons, Glenn Rolin and Gilbert Rolin; and one daughter, Gloria Jean Carnley.

She is survived by one son, Gregory (Laura Ann) Rolin of Poarch, AL; two daughters, Glenda Ann Walston of Century, FL and Grace Marie (Bill) Stuckey of Atmore, AL; and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Poplar Dell Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Stuckey and Rev. Mitch Herring officiating.

Burial will follow at the Judson Creek Indian Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Justin Rolin, Christopher Rolin, James Brazwell, Cody Harmin, Jake Woods and Gregory Rolin.

Charles Keevin Wiggins

June 21, 2018

Charles Keevin Wiggins, 58, of Pensacola died on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in Pensacola, Florida.

Keevin was born in Atmore to Audeen Godwin and Leonard Kent Wiggins on June 6, 1960. He graduated from Ernest Ward High School in Walnut Hill, Florida. After attending Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama he worked as a realtor in Alabama and Florida for 20 plus years, spending several years with Ricky Wiggins, Builder.

Keevin enjoyed helping others find their dream home and spending quality time with family and friends. He liked riding his bike on Santa Rosa Island and appreciating nature. His travels took him from Hawaii to Canada and Europe. He enjoyed life by hiking and skiing in Montana, taking a canoe ride on Prince Edward Island or a local river, watching family play sports–basketball and lacrosse–plus cooking fresh corn, butterbeans, and sliced tomatoes with cornbread on the side. Together with an uncle, he restored a 1965 Mustang convertible. He loved working with his hands, and at the end of the day playing the piano or reading a good book.

Keevin is preceded in death by his parents, Audeen and Leonard; grandparents, Grace and Preston Wiggins, Ada Godwin and Irving Godwin.

Keevin is survived by sister, LaJuana W. Porter of Houston, Texas; nephew, Kyle R. Porter of Houston, TX; nieces, Kaitlin L. Porter, Annapolis, Maryland, Amy E. Porter, Austin, Texas, Melissa P. Hovey, Charlotte, North Carolina; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, 1322 South Main Street, Atmore, Alabama, with the funeral beginning 2 p.m.

Internment will follow at Bratt Godwin Cemetery.

Steven Ray Bailey

June 21, 2018

Mr. Steven Ray Bailey, age 34, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018, in Milton.

Mr. Bailey was a native of North Charleston, S.C, a former resident of Century, FL, where he lived 30 years and has resided in Milton, FL, for the past 3½ years. He was on the CERT Team with the Florida Department of Corrections. He was a 2002 graduate of Northview High School, 2011 (AA) graduate of Pensacola State College and 2014 (BA) graduate of University of West Florida. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Afghanistan from February 9, 2004, to February 16, 2005. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sammie and Penny Garner, George Robert Bailey and Erin Davis Brown.

Survivors include his parents, Robert E. and Linda G. Bailey of Century, FL; fiancé, Brittany Merchant of Milton, FL; one brother, Joshua Bailey of Century, FL; two uncles, Robert Garner of Fairmont, WV, and Gledon Ray Bailey of Atmore, AL and other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 22, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Harper officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 21, 2018, from 6 to 8  p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Donald Nall

June 20, 2018

Donald (Don), Nall 69, of Huxford, AL, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018.

He was born September 18, 1948, to the late John and Letitia Nall. Don graduated from Escambia County High School and received an associate of science degree from Jefferson Davis Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering and Industrial Electronics from Cleveland Institute of Electronics. Don pursued an advanced degree in Art from the University of South Alabama and held many state and federal certifications in electronics, electrical, and hydraulics. Don retired from Masland Carpets with 47 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, and devoted grandfather.

Don was a beloved member of the community. He was an evangelist of the word of God for the Pentecostal Faith and an avid musician, painter/artist, quail hunter, and fishermen.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Henry Nall; mother, Letitia Ella Nall; brother, Nathan Nall, and sister Donnie Mixon.

He is survived by his wife, Annette Morris Nall, 41 years, of Huxford, AL; children, Jonathan Bradley (Olena) Nall of Cantonment, FL; Philip Brandon Nall of Huxford, AL and Thomas Matthew Nall of Huxford, AL; grandchildren, Vanessa Lauren Nall and Ronan Bradley Nall; sisters, Marteaz Brockman of Norfolk VA, Jannette Markman of East Hampton, CT, and Jaunita Williams (Wimpy) of Pensacola, FL; brothers, Narveaz Nall of Newport, WA and Felix Nall of Perry, FL along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services were held Monday, June 18, 2018, from the Atmore Memorial Chapel with Bro. Michael Montgomery and Bro. Chris Pruitt officiating.

Interment followed at Sardis Primitive Baptist Cemetery at Huxford, AL.

Active pallbearers were Wesley Morris, James Bagwell, Kipp Moore, Brian Moore, Dale Williams and Austin Turberville.

Honorary pallbearers were Members of the Class of 1967 and Destany Morris.

Marilyn M. Ross

June 20, 2018

Marilyn M. Ross, 68 of Poarch, AL passed away Friday June 15, 2018, in Atmore, AL. She was a homemaker. She was born in Atmore, AL on July 20, 1949, to the late M.C. and Hattie Lou Presley Morris.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene R. Ross and son, Berry L. Ross.

Survivors include son, Steven (Regina) Ross of Poarch, AL; three brothers, Mack Morris of Pensacola, FL,  J.R. Morris of McDavid, FL, and David Morris of Perdido, AL; four sisters, Mary Bell McGhee of Atmore, AL, Annette Nall of Huxford, AL, Lannette Turberville of Uriah, AL, and Gailette Moore of Atmore, AL; four grandchildren, Elliot Ross, Troy Ross, Alex Ross, and Abby Ross; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at The Friendly Holiness Church, with Bro. Ray Ward and Bro. Don Davis officiating.

Interment was in New Home Cemetery at Poarch, AL.

Roy Alexander Baggett

Mr. Roy Alexander Baggett, age 76, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Pensacola, Florida.

Mr. Baggett was a native of Uriah, AL and has resided in Atmore, AL for the past 44 years. He was a retired Correctional Officer (State of Alabama) with 32 years of service. Was an avid fisherman, hunter, worked the gate at the race track, mechanic, auto, lawnmowers, tractors and etc. He was a member of the New Beginnings Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Zadie Baggett and one brother, Douglas Baggett.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Evie Baggett of Atmore, AL; one son, Rex Alexander (Stephanie) Baggett of Atmore, AL; two grandchildren, Lindsey Baggett and Clay Dall both of Atmore, AL; three brothers, Ronald (Linda) Baggett of Atmore, AL, William (Janice) Baggett of Lottie, AL and Kenneth (Patricia) Baggett of Uriah, AL and four sisters, Bobbie Lee Stinston of Frisco City, AL, Sharon (Sam) Tuberville of Uriah, AL, Mary Ann (Edward) Stuart of McKenzie, AL and Lois Baggett of Poarch, AL.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Peebles officiating.

Burial will follow at the Little Rock Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 1:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Josh Baggett, Chance Baggett, Riley Baggett, David Cooper, Doug Murphy and Cameron Murphy.
