Mrs. Lynette Hepstall, age 60, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020, in Mobile, Alabama.
Mrs. Hepstall was a native of Louisville, KY, former resident of Bay Minette, AL and had resided in Walnut Hill, FL for the past 13 years. She was the former owner of LJ’s Stop and Shop and she attended the Walnut Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Ray and Ethel Catherine Wilson.
She is survived by her two sons, Calvin (Katlyn) Jacobson of Bratt, FL and Clayton (Sarah) Jacobson of Bay Minette, AL; one daughter, Jennifer (Matthew) Reynolds of Walnut Hill, FL; two brothers, Quint (Sonia) Wilson of Century, FL and Dawson (Daphne) Wilson of Orangeburg, SC; three sisters, Jackie (Timmy) Bryars of Perdido, AL, Lenora (Danny) Grissett of Flomaton, AL and Michele (Jimmy) Burt of Nokomis, FL and five grandchildren, Camden Jacobson, Lilly Harper Jacobson, Tray Mosley, Maddox Reynolds and Maggie Reynolds.
Memorial services were held Monday, January 20, 2020, at the Walnut Hill Baptist Church.

Georganna June Tanta Smith

Born June 18, 1933, in Spirit Lake, Idaho, Georganna passed from this life on January 18, 2020, after a brief illness. She entered into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father and her beloved sailor boy Kenneth Ray Smith of 64 years of marriage.
Georganna was a colorful person who loved life and loved people. She wore many hats in her lifetime and touched many lives. Georganna also known as “GG” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be truly missed.
A special thank you to First Baptist Church of Cantonment Senior Adults and Hillcrest Baptist Church Senior Adults. She had fond memories of the many senior mystery trips, holiday parties, bible studies and senior adult choir specials.
Left behind are her daughters, Debra (Eddie) Wells and Janet (John) Reithmiller of Pensacola, Florida; her son, David (Debbie) Smith of Tupelo, MS. Also, to cherish her memory are her eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, January 24, 2020, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Reverend Pat Mobley officiating.
Interment was at Barrancas National Cemetery.

David Alan Flowers

Mr. David Alan Flowers, age 62 of Jay, Florida passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020, at home.
David was a loving son, brother, husband, Daddy, Paw-Paw, and friend to all that knew him. He loved to fish and taught his sons to fish. He also loved to keep his grandchildren and cook for them . He enjoyed vacations at Panama City at Miracle Strip and Shipwreck Island.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Ervin Flowers , Jr.; brother, Eddie Flowers; and grandparents, Ervin Flowers, Sr. and Ella.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Betty Flowers. He is also survived by his mother, Dorothy Flowers; two sons, Tracy (Alice) Flowers and Eric (Nikki) Flowers; four grandchildren, Heather, Zac, Izzie, and Michael. He is survived by his siblings, Larry Flowers, Kenny (Tina) Flowers, Edward Flowers, Susie (Tommy) Griffin, Alton (Emmie) Flowers, Calvin (Jennifer) Flowers, and Diane (Ray) Belanger.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at Jay Funeral Chapel with Dr. George Fredericks officiating .
Burial was at Cora Cemetery.

Jacqueline “Jackie” Anita Howington Jackson

Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” Anita Howington Jackson, 59, of McCurdy Street Flomaton, Ala. passed away Sat. Jan. 18, 2020, in a Pensacola, Fla. hospital after a brief illness. She was a native and former resident of Conecuh County, Ala. and a long time resident of Flomaton, Ala. Mrs. Jackson was of the Assembly of God Faith. A 1978 graduate of Repton High School, a former travel nurse and was an RN at Covenant Home Health. She loved her family, her job, and her patients.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Otha and Katie Lou Owens Howington: two brothers, Shelton Howington and James Howington; a sister, Doris Booker.
She is survived by her son, Joey (Brandi) Williams of Excel, Ala; her daughter, Kelly Williams (Wayne) Coleman of Atmore, Ala; a step-daughter, Ashley (Wayne) Jackson of East Brewton; three sisters, Ann (Fred) Balkcom of Brewton, Judy (Mack) Baggett of Excel, Ala. and Betty Burch of Flomaton; five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday night Jan. 22, 2020 from 6PM until 8PM at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Thur., Jan. 23, 2020, at 11AM at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Darby officiating.
Interment will follow in the Flomaton Cemetery, Flomaton, Ala., with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
Richard Dewayne ‘Ricky’ Davis

Mr. Richard Dewayne ‘Ricky’ Davis, age 61 of Century, FL, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Sacred Heart Hospital from injuries he sustained in a car accident.
Ricky was born in Pensacola, FL, but lived most of his life in Century, FL where he attended Abundant Life Church in Century and considered it his church. He enjoyed fishing for bluegills, was a self-employed painter, and a proud tattoo artist. Ricky did what he wanted to do. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ted T. and Bernestine Holland Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Davis of Bratt, FL; daughters, Ashley (Chris) Johnson of Montgomery, AL, Becky Adkins of Atmore, AL, Machalle Adkins of Atmore, AL; siblings, Susie (Shane) Adams of Flomaton, AL, Skinny (Jimmy) Morris 0f Byrneville, FL, Rocky (Brenda) Davis of Lafayette, AL, Pat (Sherman) Glover of Byrneville, FL, Betty (Walter) Porz of Byrneville, FL, Mary Carroll of Michigan, Jim (Patti) Wolters of Atlanta, GA, Reggie (Susie) Palmer of Mississippi; one grandchild, Rose Johnson.

Julius B. Darby, 79, of Cantonment, FL passed away on January 14, 2020.
Mr. Darby was born on February 10, 1940 in McCullough, AL to Willis Bradford and Bonnie Lou Darby. He was a long-time and active member of Community of Christ Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with family.
Julius is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Nell Elizabeth Darby; son, Doug Darby (Linda); daughter, Jennifer Jeffords (Lee); siblings, Wynette Chandler, Lois Darby, and Carlos Darby; 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth Godwin and Hannah Darby; 2 great grandchildren, Colby Darby and Ivy Godwin, along with several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 10:30 a.m. located at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home in Pensacola, FL.

Lieutenant Colonel Ronald C. Constance of Cantonment, Florida passed away on January 14, 2020 after a hard battle with cancer.
Ron was a proud Marine who served his country for 32 years. He was a great husband, Father, Papa, and friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda; his children, Kristy, Ronnie (Bob), Connie, and Randy; nine grandchildren, Aaron, Jacquline, Joshua, Rylee, Landon, Kali, Lilly, Mason, and Kelcie; and two sisters, Lauri
Constance and Corrine Constance.
Funeral services will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Pastor Alan Haas officiating. Inurnment will follow in Barrancas National Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 2 PM to 4 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Earlene Killam Hayles, age 90, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in Century, Florida.
Mrs. Hayles was a native of Byrneville, FL and resided in Lottie, AL since 1954. She was founder of the “Lottie Quilting Club”, worked in the cafeteria of Perdido School and owned a catering business. She attended the Lottie Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Calvin Hayles; son, Bubba Hayles and one brother, Edgar Killam.
She is survived by one son, Keith (Kathy) Hayles of Lottie, AL; one daughter, Betty Lynn (David) Corley of Lottie, AL; one brother, John Elton Killam of Byrneville, FL; one sister, Evelyn Killam of Byrneville, FL; four grandchildren, Justin Hayles, Jerrod (Emily) Hayles, Riley Waltman and Blane Waltman and two great grandchildren, Keaton Waltman and Chevelle Waltman.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Judd Coghin officiating.
Burial will follow at the Lottie Methodist Cemetery.

Clarence Edwin “Ed” Horne, Jr.

Clarence Edwin “Ed” Horne, Jr. , of McDavid, Florida, passed away on January 13, 2020 in an inpatient Covenant Hospice facility in Pensacola, Florida.
He was born on March 9, 1941 in Enon Community in Pike County, Alabama. Ed graduated from Baker Hill High School in Alabama and attended Troy State University.
One of Ed’s greatest loves in life was his Appaloosas. Nothing was more rewarding to him than showing these horses. This love gave the following quote new meaning – “There’s something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.”
Ed retired from Monsanto in Gonzalez, Florida after 35 years of service, where he worked as an engineering technician in Research and Development.
Ed is preceded in death by his parents, C.E. Horne, Sr. and Dorothy Haisten Horne, brother-in-law Rothel Griffin and sister-in-law Jane McCurdy. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Edythe McCurdy Horne, daughters Denise Allain and Lynn Horne (Norman), son Dennis Horne, sisters Elizabeth Griffin and Elaine Sammons (Tommy), three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Joshua Greenwell, Jeremy Greenwell, Ashley Griffin, Art Sammons, Bert Sammons, and Tim Thomas with Norman McIntosh as honorary pallbearer.
Friends are cordially invited to join the family for a visitation at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home in Pensacola, Florida on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 12:00-2:00PM. Graveside service will follow at 2PM with Chaplin Jason Adams officiating.
