Linda C. Helton, age 77, of Atmore, AL passed away on June 3, 2021 in Atmore, AL. She was born on March 24, 1944 in Damascus, AL to King David and Melissa Evelyn Lanier Cotton. She was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ. She was the owner and a cosmetologist of Merle Norman Cosmetics in Atmore, AL for many years. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, John Cotton and Robert Cotton; her sisters, Mabel Edmiston, Marjorie Troutman and Margaret Ann Beasley. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, William “Don” Helton of Atmore, AL; her daughter, Laura (Jason) Carraway of Atmore, AL; her brothers, Stacey W. (Suzanne) Cotton of Covington, GA and Harlen Gene (JoAnn) Cotton of Atmore, AL; her grandchild, Austin Gibbs and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A graveside memorial service and interment will be held Friday, June 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore, AL with Bro. Brad Sullivan officiating.

Constance Marie Korn Age 66, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on June 6, 2021.
She was born to loving parents Donald and Helen Korn in Japan Jan. 2, 1955.
She was a loving mother with 3 Children. Melissa (David) Watson, John Gerdine, and Scott (Karen) Gerdine. Grandchildren Jonathan and Sarah Watson.
She loved all her family and 5 siblings. Sherry (Gary) Barnes, Ken (Micki) Korn, David (Terri) Korn, Teresa (Rick) Easterling, and Bob (Karen) Korn. Constance Marie Korn was a talented singer and loved to write songs. Her faith in the Lord was number one in her life. She loved to teach the Bible to people who wanted to know more about Him. Constance Marie Korn always loved to laugh and converse with friends and family members when they came to visit her. Constance Marie Korn’s Celebration of Life will be held Sunday June 27, 2021 at Noon in Her Residence with family and friends singing her favorite hymns.

Joan Elaine Brooks, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away and went to her heavenly home on June 2, 2021, at the age of 77.
Mrs. Brooks was born on January 22, 1944 and was a lifelong resident of McDavid, FL. She was a devoted member of Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church all of her life, including teaching Sunday School and loving on the babies in the nursery. She also had a passion for her animals and flowers. Above all else she was a family woman who loved nothing more than to be surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded by her father and mother, Rupert and Idell Black, brother, Dowlin Black, sisters, Betty Harrelson, Nelda Seal and a son, Keith Brooks.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Ed Brooks of McDavid, FL; children, Kathy Ozmore (Ozzie), Robbie Castillow (Daphne), Robin Ball (Scott), Brad Brooks (Miranda), Lisa Brooks, Johnny Brooks (Abby); grandchildren, Tyler Brooks, Tayler Ehrhart (Dustin), Myles Brooks, Tyler Brooks (Britany), Jordan Castillow, Tanner Brooks (Morgan), Dakota Brooks, Kendall Castillow, Bailey Castillow, Desmond Williams, Rhiannon Brooks; great grandchildren, Allison Brooks, Kaya Brooks, Jaxson Brooks, Jayce Brooks, Braelyn Brooks, Manual Brooks, Lilly Brooks, Jamison Brooks; sisters, Christine Truesdell, Lucelle Burroughs, Barbara Quadrini, Frances Black; special cousins, June Capps (Andy), Dexter Truesdell (Laura); best friend, Shirley Black and her Schatzi.
Visitation will be at 2:00 PM until the service begins at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Ray’s Chapel Church in McDavid, FL; with Rev. Nathan Brown and Rev. Dexter Truesdell officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons; Tyler Brooks, Tanner Brooks, Myles Brooks, Dakota Brooks, Dustin Ehrhart and Jordan Castillow.
Elaine C. Tarkowski

Elaine C. Tarkowski resident of Pensacola, FL passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the age of 81.
She was born on October 21, 1939 to the late Ernest Castro and Gladys Roche Castro.
Elaine was a longtime member of St. John Catholic Church and a proud Navy wife to retired Commander Ronald C. Tarkowski, Sr. for 35 years. She enjoyed bowling and bingo. Her Castro heritage was something she was very proud of as being one of the first ten families to settle in Pensacola, FL. Elaine enjoyed her grandchildren and was especially proud of each of them.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald C. Tarkowski, Sr.; her parents; and seven siblings.
Elaine is survived by her three children, Barbara Dosh (John), Ronald Tarkowski, Jr. and Matthew Tarkowski; three grandchildren, Mallory Tarkowski (Trey), Nicholas Dosh (Gabby) and Dylan Stamenkovich (Kyndall); three great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Soryn and Atlas; one sister, Mary Hellriegel (John); two sisters-in-law, Rose Castro and Shirley Castro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with Father Dennis O’Brien officiating. Burial will follow in Barrancas National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 11:30 a.m. prior to services.
In lieu of flowers family requests that donations be made to Covenant Hospice Care Center at Sacred Heart.

Elton Ward Bowling

Elton Ward Bowling, 71, passed away June 1, 2021 in Pensacola, FL. He was born on March 4, 1950 to Vaughn and Lucy Bowling in Mobile, AL. Elton bravely served his country in the Army. He also owned and operated Elton Bowling Fiberglass for 35 years, where he was recognized as the best in his craft throughout the Southeast. Elton was an avid fisherman, enjoyed shooting at the range, and restoring old sports cars. He enjoyed all the pets and animals that he and Sheila had over their many years together. Elton will be remembered for his quick wit, as well as being a devoted husband, father and son.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vaughn and Lucy Bowling.
Elton is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 44 years, Sheila J. Bowling, and his son, Casey Bowling (Monica).
Visitation will be Wednesday June 9, 2021, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Jerry Vaughn will be officiating. Interment will be at Bayview Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Tom Watson, Bob Sachlis, Jimmy Bragg, Kevin Laghan, Lon Withers, and Billy Cotton.
James Earl “Jim” Harrison

Mr. James Earl “Jim” Harrison passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 in Mobile, AL. Mr. Harrison was born January 10, 1961 in Atmore, Alabama where he was raised and later moved to Bay Minette, Alabama and resided.
Jim loved God and enjoyed sharing his faith in God with others. He especially loved teaching his grandsons about God and the importance of praying for others in need. Jim was an avid Auburn fan who always rooted for his team win or lose! Jim attended Escambia County High School and also Lake Butler High School, FL., where he graduated Class of 1979. Jim was a skilled master mechanic and salesman for various companies across the Southeastern United States for over 35 years.
Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Ann (Smith) Parker, his step-mother, Barbara Ann (Dykes) Harrison, and father-in-law, Rev. Charlton Lee Calhoun.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jenifer Lynn (Calhoun) Harrison, daughter, Jessica Luanne (Chris) Harrison-Phillips; sons Stephen Earl Thomas Harrison, and Nicholas James Harrison; four grandsons, Jordynn Paul Harrison, Christopher Paul Phillips, Jr., Chosen Isaiah Phillips, Closure Elijah Kane Phillips, all of Bay Minette, AL; father, Rev. Hubert Earl Harrison of Atmore, AL; brothers, John Robert (Shannon) Harrison, of Stockton, AL; Kenneth Lee (Anita) Harrison, Edward Alvin Harrison, of Atmore, AL; and William Anthony (Lisa) Cody of Jay, FL. He is also survived by his mother in law and father in law Martha and Ronnie Jay of Bay Minette, AL; numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other family, church family members, and friends.
Visitation will be at Vision Ministries Church of God, Bay Minette, AL, Thursday evening, June 3, 2021, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. for family and from 6:00-8:00 PM for all other friends.

Mr. Charles Carnie Lambeth, age 95, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at his Flomaton residence.
Mr. Lambeth was born in Cantonment, FL and had been a life-long resident of the Flomaton area. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Navy. He worked as a Purchasing Clerk at Monsanto for a number of years, and was a member of Pleasant Home Holiness Church. Mr. Lambeth was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Nora Lister Lambeth.
He is survived by a son, Larry (Tracy) Lambeth of Flomaton; a daughter, Brenda (Terry) Powell of Flomaton; four grandchildren, Trent (Laura) Powell, Brandon (Alex) Powell, Lauren Lambeth, and Nick Lambeth, all of Flomaton; seven great-grandchildren, Jacob Powell, Ty Powell, Kyra Powell, Trinity Powell, Reece Charles Powell, Kayson Graves, and Sophia Powell, all of Flomaton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 4, 2021 from the chapel of Flomaton Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Boutwell officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Home Cemetery.

Ms. Barbeline McCaw age 40, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 in Pensacola, FL.
Ms. McCaw had been a resident of Century, FL; but has resided most of her life in Flomaton, AL. She enjoyed her family, children, grandchildren and her bulldog “Blue.” She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Roy and Nancy (Kennedy) Darby.
She is survived by her three sons, Richard McCaw of Munson, FL; Charlie McCaw of Pace, FL; and Tiyquarius Taylor of Pace, FL; one daughter, Lori McCaw of Flomaton, AL; one brother Roy Byron Darby Jr. of Pace, FL; one sister, Vicki Darby Benfield of Brewton, AL. many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Petty – Eastside Chapel.
Burial will follow at Crary Cemetery.

Sandra Matchett Haupert, 69 of Barrineau Park, FL passed away on May 30, 2021 in Century, FL. She was born in Pensacola Florida, and resided in Barrineau Park Florida her whole life. She was a Phlebotomist at West Florida Hospital for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Haupert; parents, Willard “Boy” Matchett and Lucille Williams Matchett; sister-in-law, Mildred Schwartz; and aunt, Mertye Badami.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorri (Greg) Clary; grandchildren, Ashley Bonner, Jody Bonner (Haleigh Robinson), Cody (Maddie) Clary and Justin Clary; great-grandchildren, Tripp, Brantley, Taiten, Kinsleigh and Beckett; sister, Marilyn Timothy; brother, Alton (Darlene) Matchett; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2021, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Pastor Fred Stallworth officiating. Family will receive friends at 1 p.m. prior to services.
