Marvel Leticia Keith passed away on August 21, 2021 in Pensacola, Florida.
She was born on May 19, 1961 in Aligandi, San Blas, Panama to Blas Martinez and Griselda Perez.
Marvel enjoyed gardening, flowering, and bird watching. She was definitely an outdoors person! She also enjoyed sewing and making molas. Marvel loved life to the fullest, especially when it came to her grandkids. She was a Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and was always reading her Bible.
She was preceded in death by her father, Blas Martinez.
Marvel was survived by her husband, Barry Keith; daughters, Starlena (Richard) Williams and Delilah (Kelly) Clements; son, Kimpler (Sparkle) Keith; granddaughter, Eliannia Keith; grandsons, Malachi Williams, Gabriel Williams, Matthew Keith-Harrison, Jadeyn Keith, Skyline Clements, Kameron Clements, Kelly Clements, and Civic Clements; mother, Griselda Perez; sisters, Griselinda Martinez, Zelaida Martinez, Nilda Martinez, and Mileika Martinez; and brothers, Blas Martinez, Carlos Martinez, Kimpler Martinez, and Roldano Martinez.
Funeral services will be announced at a later time.
Pallbearers are Barry, Uncle Leonard, Kimpler, Richard, Malachi, and Uncle Rocky.
Honorary Pallbearers are Little Rocky and Arnold.

Mr. Steven Allen Lashley, age 63, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 in Century, FL.
Mr. Lashley was born in Buras, LA; and has resided most of his life in Century, FL. Mr. Lashley enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with family, and coaching Little League Ball. He loved to tell stories and he never met a stranger.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Lashley.
Mr. Lashley is survived by his mother, Ruby Lee Lashley, of Century, FL; one son, Stevie Lashley (Mindy) of Century, FL; one daughter, Misti LaSala (Paul) of Canoe, AL; one brother, Edwin Lashley, of Century, FL; one sister, Gaynell Bethea, of Century, FL; three grandchildren, Ansley Tillery (Jonah), Andrea LaSala, Aiden LaSala, other relatives and special friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 28,2021 at 2:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC with Rev. Chip Barbas officiating.
Burial will follow at Beulah Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 28,2021 from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC.

James Howard Shell
August 25, 2021
James Howard Shell, age 88, passed away August 21, 2021, in Spanish Fort, Alabama where he had been a resident of Westminster Village for the past four years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Nannette Cobb Shell.
Howard was born in Excel, Alabama on October 31, 1932 to the late Edna Johnson Shell and Cary Ezekiel Shell. He grew up in Walnut Hill, Florida graduating from Ernest Ward High School before attending Florida State University. Due to the Korean War, he left FSU and joined the US Navy where he served aboard the USS Ault for four years. After his service years, he joined Monsanto where he worked in research and development for 30 years before retiring.
Howard served on the Atmore City Council for two years. He subsequently was elected mayor, serving for 22 years before retiring in 2012. Howard was a member of the Atmore First United Methodist Church, the Lions Club, American Legion Post #90 and was a 32nd degree Freemason.
Mr. Shell is survived by his children, Nancy Shell Fayard (Gary) of Atlanta, GA and
James Burton Shell (Kim) of Pawleys Island, SC as well as five grandchildren and
four great grandchildren.

James Edward Fausz

James Edward Fausz passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021, in Pensacola, FL. He was born January 25, 1939, in Ft. Wayne, IN. Jim joined the military in 1957, retiring in 1978, as a LCDR. He spent the first six years as an unlisted service member, followed by attending Officer Candidate School (OCS), receiving his commission. Followed by flight school training to earn his wings flying the Skyraiders. He served four tours in Vietnam, two as a sailor and two tours as an aviator. Last duty station NAS Pensacola, serving as the flight deck officer on the USS Lexington.
Jim’s love of aviation especially WWII Warbirds aircraft led him to his second career as a Warbird Museum director. First in Mesa, AZ, followed by Lone Star Flight Museum in Houston, TX.
He would tell you that he had a wonderful and interesting life. He and Ann had a great life, sharing 45 years before her passing in 2019. He was proud of his children, grandchildren and couldn’t believe he had five great grands.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Ann S. Fausz; father, Walter Fausz and mother, Letha Mae Fausz.
James is survived by his daughter, Lori Gilmore (Gary); daughter, Cindy Beard (Doug); stepson, O. Glynn Rocka; granddaughter, Ashleigh Jones (Jeremy); granddaughter, Katie Leslie (Jordan); great grandchildren, Haleigh Floyd, Evan Floyd, Aubreigh Floyd, Presleigh Jones and Connor Leslie.
Visitation will be Friday, August 27, 2021, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 AM. Rev. John Webb will be officiating. Interment will be at Bayview Memorial Park.

Louise Woods Jernigan

Louise Woods Jernigan, 89, received her heavenly crown on August 23, 2021. Louise was born on January 13, 1932 to George and Ollie Mae (Payne) Woods in Atmore, Alabama and was one of 12 siblings.
Louise married Glen Jernigan, her husband of 65 years on January 10, 1948. Together they built a successful business in the retail gasoline industry operating dozens of locations in Northwest Florida and Southern Alabama. In addition to being a caregiver and business partner to Glen, Louise found her greatest joy being a mother to her two daughters and then a proud and loving Nanny to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family, cooking and serving delicious meals. Louise loved the Lord and served Him faithfully both in her church and in the community.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband Glen, her parents, and her siblings: William Alfred Woods, Otis Woods, Ruby Lee Lambert, Estelle Parker, Edward Woods, Anne Dunne, Mary Willis, Gladys Petrantis, Thelma Sierra, and Hazel Mason.
Louise is survived by her daughters Cindy (Dirk) Lundquist and Cathy (Bobby) Payne; grandchildren Layla (Wes) Lundquist- Smith, Brandon (Crystal) Payne, Megan (Drew) Ard; great grandchildren Atakelt and Evangeline Smith, Savannah Payne, and Christian, Riley Ann and Greyson Ard; one sister, Freddie (Gaines) Pezent as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Charline Wetzel, the Memory Care staff of The Blake of Pensacola, Adam and Mandy at Emerald Coast Hospice, and Deneen Rowan.

Mrs. Hazel McGhee Albritton, age 74, passed away, August 21, 2021 in Nokomis, AL. She was a lifelong resident of Atmore, AL. She worked several years at the Atmore Nursing Center as a dietary aide. She was a member of Gospel Light Chapel. She was a proud member of Poarch Band of Creek Indians.
Mrs. Albritton enjoyed working in her flower garden and cooking for family. She enjoyed going to the annual Pow Wow. Her grandchildren were the focus of her life and kept her going.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Norvie Lee McGhee and Mrs. Gladys Presley McGhee, husband, Lenard Albritton Jr., three brothers, Early McGhee, Norvie Lee McGhee Jr; Cecil McGhee, two sisters, Louise Turner, Betty Jane McVey, and granddaughter, Jordan Albritton.
She is survived by her two sons, Tim Albritton (Bethany) of Nokomis, AL; Olan Albritton (Geri Lynn) of Nokomis, AL; one daughter, Terri Breckenridge (Terrence) of Nokomis, AL; three brothers, Douglas McGhee, of Spanish Fort, AL; Ronnie McGhee, of Nokomis, AL; Huey McGhee, of Zion, Il; one sister, Eloise Ramer, of Gasden, AL; ten grandchildren, Logan, Hunter, Lylia, Addison, Silas, Drew, Chloe’, Temple, Sophia, Shepard, five great- grandchildren, Avaiha, Zadyn, Chasyn, Rylan, Oan, special niece, Christine Ward, special nephew, Michael McGhee, other relatives, and friends.

W. Edward Godwin, a resident of Century, FL, passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 79.
He was born on June 17, 1942, to the late Wilbourn J. Godwin and Amanda Ziglar Godwin.
Edward was a member and deacon at Walnut Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Web Godwin, sister, Christine Creel, and first wife Diane Godwin.
Edward is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gladys Sharee Strickland Godwin; children, Keith (Barbara) Cauley, Lynn (Greg) Mills, Leah (Doug) Vickery, Darla (Jeff) Brantley and Kiley (Michelle) Godwin; 12 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren with one on the way.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, FL.

Kathryn Abramovich Hicks, 88 of McDavid, FL passed away August 20, 2021 in McDavid. She was born in Perdido, AL on December 2, 1932 to the late Rudolph and Viola Vidak Abramovich. She was a member of Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church in Bogia, FL and was a retired RN with over 33 years of service. She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Hicks of McDavid, FL; two children, Bro. Ed (Valerie) Hicks of Molino, FL and Rhonda (Brian) Bruley of Atmore, AL; four grandchildren, Ben, Charity, David, Nathan and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, August 23, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Interment will follow at Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Denise Renee Pace, passed away August 21, 2021 at age of 56. She born in Asheville, North Carolina, but has lived most, of her life in the Century, FL. area. She was an avid Florida State Seminole fan. She valued her time she got to spend with family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. She always enjoyed the outdoor cookouts.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Jack Banks and Mrs. Mary Lee Connors Banks, husband, Steve Pace, one brother, Duane Banks.
She is survived by her two sons, Steven Pace (Amie) of Molino, FL; Rannon Pace (Marisah) of Century, FL; one daughter, Rachel Pace (Ronnie Holt) of Cantonment, FL; eight grandchildren, Kaleb, Bella, Harper, Skyla, Ean, Siobaun, Logan, and Braelyn, nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

Otis Carlton Stanley

Otis Carlton Stanley passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021, in Pensacola, FL. He was born August 6, 1933, in Doniphan, MO, to Grover and Ava Stanley. Otis enlisted in the Navy in 1957 and retired in 1976. He continued to serve as a contractor with the Army until 1998, when he relocated to Pensacola to enjoy retirement.
Otis enjoyed taking friends and family to see the Blue Angels and visiting the Pensacola Naval Air Museum, where he volunteered.
Otis is survived by his wife, Glynnell Stanley, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 3:00 PM, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Chaplain David Gibson will be officiating. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
