Kenneth A. Lloyd

Kenneth A. Lloyd of Pensacola FL, age 75, passed peacefully on October 1st, 2021 at West Florida Hospital. He was born September 7th, 1946 in the small town of Pensacola Florida, and was the son of Henry (Archie) and Louise Lloyd. Kenneth attended Baker High School, following high school Kenneth served in the United States Army in the South Carolina Units and after honorable discharge he started his life long career at Gulf Power of Pensacola where he proudly served 42 years and retired. Kenneth enjoyed his church family and fellowship with Calvary Baptist Church.

Kenneth had many joys in his life starting with his beloved wife of 39 years Patsy Lloyd. If anyone took 5 mins to have a conversation with Kenneth you would know his son, Brian, grandson, Dalton and granddaughter, Shelby was his entire world, plus the passion for hunting and Alabama Football.

Kenneth is preceded in death by parents, Archie and Louise Lolyd; and his nephew, Tony Fussell.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patsy Lloyd; son, Brian K. Lloyd (Corry) of Pensacola; grandson, Dalton Lloyd (Amanda) of Molino, FL; granddaughter, Shelby Lloyd (Brittanny) of Pensacola, FL; sisters, Sandra Fussell (Gene), Elizabeth Wolff (Marty), Tonya Kerchof (Lou) and brother, Curtis Lloyd (Debbie); and many nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends. Plus, his wonderful buddy, Jag (the dog).

Services will be held on Monday, October 4th, 2021.
Viewing and Visitations will be at 1:00pm-2:00pm, followed by a service of remembrance at 2:00p.m. at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (7433 Pine Forest Road, Pensacola FL). The service will be officiated by Dr. Dale Patterson and Pastor Walt Magaha.

Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Those who want to provide gifts or flowers in memory may do so to the Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 7433 Pine Forest Road, Pensacola FL 32526.

Russell Lynn Brown

October 3, 2021

Mr. Russell Lynn Brown age 57 passed away September 20 2021. He was a native of Santa Monica, California but lived most of his life in Florida and Alabama.

Mr. Brown was a very skilled tradesman, including dry wall finisher, insulator and many other skills.

He enjoyed working with his hands doing little odd jobs for himself and helping others. He liked the simple things in life, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was known to be an easy-going person, all who met him liked him.

He is preceded in death by his Father Marion Russell Brown and son Brian Brown McCurley and his Loving partner Sylvia O’Brien.

He is survived by the mother of his children Tonya McInvale Brown, daughter Amber Brown Fisher Sons Scott Brown and Patrick Brown, Mother Rose Mary Brown, brothers Randall Brown and Robb

Brown and sister Laura Brown Maggazu as well as many grandchildren and cousins, nieces and nephews and special friends that looked to him as a special person in their lives, Rae Watson, Michaela O’Brien

Marcia Holley and Amyia who called him Papa. A special thanks to his brothers Randy, Robb and sister Laura and daughter Amber who were there at the time of his need.

Mary Fant Enfinger

October 1, 2021

Mary Fant Enfinger of Cantonment, Florida was born on Feb. 9, 1939 in Kilgore, Texas and entered Heaven’s gates on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. F.L. Enfinger; her oldest grandson, Dale Nathan Enfinger, Jr.; her parents, Rev. C.D. Fant Sr./Eva Moulton Fant; 4 brothers, Ronald Fant, Rev. Henry Fant, Rev. C.D. Fant Jr., Marshall Fant; her sister, Martha Fant Terry. Mrs. Enfinger is survived by her three sons: Randy Enfinger (Denise), Wesley Enfinger (Lisa), and Dale Enfinger (Cora), and 1 brother, John Fant (Faye). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great children, and 1 great, great grandchild, as well as an innumerable amount of friends.

Mary moved with her family as a young teenager to Molino, Fl. where she eventually met and married Fillmore Lee Enfinger. They enjoyed over 50 years together before the Lord called him home. She was a loving Mother to her sons and a kind friend to all she met, but her “calling”, her “occupation”, was to be a devoted helpmeet to her husband. She served at his side faithfully as he ministered in churches and throughout the surrounding communities. Mary Enfinger was a modern day example of the godly woman described in Proverbs 31. The heart of her husband did truly trust in her and her children certainly call her blessed! She was a woman that should be praised! Even after the passing of her husband, she continued to faithfully serve the Lord and support His work until the Lord graciously allowed her to join her loved ones in Heaven. She will be interred at the First Baptist Church of Cottage Hill where she and her husband served for 28 years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Alan Harpe officiating. Burial will follow in Cottage Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at 1 p.m. prior to services.

Andrew Levy Cooper

September 24, 2021

Andrew Levy Cooper, 81, resident of Prattville, AL, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 24, 2021.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 2:00 pm from Prattville Memory Gardens with Elder Tom Corley and Elder Daniel Dean officiating and Prattville Memorial directing.

Visitation will be held on Monday at Prattville Memorial from 1:00 until 2:00 pm.

Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Fannie Cooper; three sisters, Ruby Jean Cooper, Esther Piggott, Sue Hines; two brothers, Earl Cooper and Carl Ray Cooper.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Wiggins Cooper; one daughter, Tammi Davis (Trent); two sons, Todd Cooper (Shari) and Andy Cooper (Heather); nine grandchildren, Zachary Davis (Candice), Zan Johnson (Brett), Dori Cooper, Kaylee Cooper, Jessica Ridley, Paige Mullins, Kate Cooper, Andrew Cooper and Blaine Cooper; seven great-grandchildren, Leena, Isaac, Levi, Harper, Brantley, William and Ivey; extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Trent Davis, Zachary Davis, Allen Bingham, Dennis Wiggins, Phillip Cornett and Wyatt Cornett.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Harold Cox, Andrew Cooper and Blaine Cooper. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made in his honor to Montgomery Primitive Baptist Church, 1814 Seasons Drive, Prattville, AL 36066.

Cameron Eugene Lowrey

Cameron Eugene Lowrey – age 23 of Knoxville was called home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, after a lengthy battle with covid.  Cameron was an avid NASCAR fan, die hard wrestling fan, and a talented gamer.  He loved photography and was very talented at taking photos and videos.  He was also an enthusiast of the Japanese culture.  Cameron was known for his big, amazing heart and the love he showed his family, friends, pets, and the love of his life.  Everyone loved Cameron instantaneously with his fun-loving personality, witty charm, half smirk smile, and crazy hair.  Cameron will forever be missed.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Ronald Whitfield, Sr. and Brenda Forbes; and great grandfather, Jesse Whitfield.

Survived by parents, Teresa and John DeFriece; sister, Brianna DeFriece; brother, Nicholas Adams; father, Milton (Jessica) Lowrey, Jr.; girlfriend, Desiré Best; grandparents, Milton Sr. and Susan Lowrey, Bill and JoAnn Gardner; great grandmother, Catherine Whitfield; aunts and uncles, Candace and David Baxley, Garrett Lowrey, Ron Whitfield, Jr., Suzan and Jason Baker, Shay and Eric Parker, Beau Sneed; and many cousins, great aunts, and great uncles.

Gary Doyle Cooper

Gary Doyle Cooper, 66, of Cantonment, Florida, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, went home to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, September 17th, 2021. Gary was born on Dec. 23, 1954, to the late Leslie Doyle Cooper and Betty Loftin Merian. He graduated from Pensacola High School in the Class of 1972.

Before retirement, Gary was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor at Monsanto/Solutia Performance Material. He served in many other roles and stayed busy after retirement with his family and friends. He was a proud Freemason and Shriner throughout the majority of his life. Throughout his life, Gary enjoyed going to all sorts of car races and shows, traveling, fishing, finding good bargains, and being the best Husband, Dad, and friend to so many.

Gary is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kim Cooper; three sons, Cody Cooper, Zach Cooper, and Kyle Cooper; two brothers, Terry Cooper and Keith (Angela) Cooper; step-mother, Annie Ruth Cooper; step-brother, Larry Carraway; and many great aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. with funeral services from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 23rd, 2021 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home (1000 S Hwy 29). Burial will be held shortly after the ceremony at Pensacola Memorial Gardens (7433 Pine Forest Rd.).

Marion Bluford Bailey

Marion Bluford Bailey passed away on September 15, 2021 in Pensacola, Florida.

He was born on September 10, 1933 in Jay, Florida to Izelle “Pete” Bailey and Ruth Naomi Gulsby. Marion married Eunice Bailey on August 20, 1955. He worked for Champion for 43 years and retired on October 1, 1995. He also served in the U.S. Army, serving in Germany during the Korean War. Marion loved his family and supported his family and friends whenever he could. He helped others because he wanted to, not because he had to.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Ruth; and brothers, Charles Adon Bailey and Curtis Earl Bailey.

Marion is survived by his wife, Eunice Hall Bailey; daughter, Judy D. Bailey Daley (Carl); sons, Randall “Randy” Marion Bailey (Melodie) and Charles Izelle Bailey; 6 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great, great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Carol Lewis (Gladden); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Victory Assembly of God at 10:30 a.m. with Jeff McKee officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Springs Full Gospel Church. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service.

Pallbearers are Randall Bailey, Charles Bailey, Alec Bailey, Jacob Bailey, Jason Lamb, and Lamar Lamb. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Cruce and Zackary Lamb.

Elmer “Cody” Cobb IV

September 20, 2021

Elmer “Cody” Cobb IV, age 33, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Thursday, September 9, 2021, while at Sacred Heart Hospital Covenant Care. Cody was born to Elmer “Lou” Cobb and Darci Edwards Cobb on October 9, 1987, in Pensacola, Florida. He was a 2006 graduate of J.M. Tate High School. Cody was employed with the Escambia County School District, where he worked in the maintenance shop as a carpenter. Woodworking was his passion, and in the last few years he began building furniture and barns, as well as outdoor patio/pool decks, which led to his business, Cobb’s Custom Carpentry. Cody was a member of the Cantonment Masonic Lodge No. 322 for the past two years. He enjoyed the brotherhood within the lodge and spent many days and nights with his masonic brothers. Cody was also a part of Kaboom Sports where he played kickball with many friends that he considered family.

ln 2015, Cody met Kerri Farinas Cobb, and they married on September 1, 2018. Ln 2017, Cody and Kerri welcomed their first daughter, Sydney Genevieve Cobb, and in May 2020, their second daughter, Kennedy Jean Cobb, was born. His children were the light of his life, and Sydney was often referred to as Cody’s little sidekick. Anywhere Cody went, Sydney was always by his side, whether working in the yard, tending to the chickens, working on jobs, or even taking trips to Lowe’s or ACE Hardware. Cody lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures- spending time with family and friends, taking trips, and watching his FSU Seminoles or his Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed surprising his family with last minute trips and taking his daughters to the zoo or the drive through safari. Cody loved history, especially in reference to Pensacola. This was evident by his colorful tattoos, which represented Pensacola to the fullest. Cody never met a stranger.
ln fact, he made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He would greet most everyone with a handshake and a hug.

Cody is survived by his wife, Kerri Farinas Cobb; daughters, Sydney and Kennedy; mother, Darci Edwards Cobb; father, Elmer “Lou” Cobb lll; paternal grandmother, Mary Francis (Don) Dorin; sister, Kristin (Ryan) Howell and niece, Camryn; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Karen Farinas; sister-in-law, Kimberly Farinas; sister-in-law, Katie (Allen) Givens, nephews, Bryce and Patrick, and nieces, Chloe and Shelby; sister-in-law, Kristen (Andrew) Jackson, nephews, Campbell and Oliver, and niece Addison. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Nancy Edwards, as well as his paternal grandfather, Elmer “Louis” Cobb Jr.

A memorial service to honor Cody will be held at Faith Chapel North on Friday, September 24, 2021. Family visitation will be held from 3:00-3:30pm, with regular visitation from 3:30-5:30pm, and services starting at 5:30pm. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 25th, with a tree planting ceremony as well as a fireworks send-off, which Cody would enjoy as he always did things in a big way.  The family asks that everyone wear a mask, as they are required to attend services.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant Hospice, or donations can be sent to the family for a college fund that will be set up for Cody’s daughters.


Leslie R. Heaton

Leslie R. Heaton resident of Cantonment, FL passed away on September 18, 2021 at the age of 81. Leslie was born in Alcoa, Tennessee on March 28, 1940. He was a faithful member of Gateway Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lenzie Ray Heaton and Bessie Ethel Anderson Heaton; step-father, Leonard Eidson; sister, Joyce H. Seeds; and brothers, Robert Sentell, Leon Sentell and Lenzie Ray Heaton, Jr.

Leslie is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margaret J. Moser Heaton; children, Don (Faye) Heaton, Randy (Darla) Heaton, and Lisa (Lee) Percy; nine grandchildren, Laura, Heather, Sherri, Andy, Amanda, Michael, Micah, Brittni, and Heath; fifteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and one on the way; sisters, Margaret Davis, Mamie McNutt and Virginia Miles; brother-in-law, Allen Seeds; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 27, 2021 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Pastor Nichols officiating. Burial to follow in Barrancas National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m. prior to services.
