Beverly Harris

Mrs. Beverly Harris, age 67, passed away, Sunday, January 9, 2022 peacefully at her home in Atmore, AL. She has resided in Atmore, AL; all of her life. She was a member of Atmore First Assembly of God Church for over 60 years where, she also worked in the nursery for over forty years. She enjoyed her many travels with the Celebrate Group she was involved with.

Mrs. Harris valued her time she got to spend with her family, and grandchildren, going to the mountains, and Disney World with them. She enjoyed fishing, and shopping.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Dewey (Margaret White) Barnhill, one son, Johnnie Wayne Harris Jr; and one brother, Keith Anthony Barnhill.

She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-nine years, Wayne Harris, of Atmore, AL; one son, Joshua Wayne (Ashley) Harris, of Atmore, AL; one brother, Ronald Barnhill, of Atmore, AL; three sisters, Cynthia (Danny) Wilson, of Atmore, AL; Delores Peavy, of Atmore, AL; Denean (Daniel) Workman, of Atmore, AL; two grandchildren, Allison Harris, Lilly Harris, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Atmore First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Don Davis officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Wilson, Craig Wilson, Daniel Harris, Riley Workman, Mark Harrell, and Travis Vickrey.

Linda Ruth Tabers McCall

January 13, 2022

Mrs. Linda Ruth Tabers McCall, age 69, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in a Pensacola healthcare facility.

Mrs. McCall was born in Comanchee, Texas and had been a longtime resident of Brewton, AL. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital for over twenty years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandbabies. She was a member of First Baptist Church of East Brewton. Mrs. McCall was preceded in death by her parents, Weldon Brice Tabers and Lila Glee Baker Tabers.

She is survived by a son, Jeffrey (Amy) Morris of Jay, FL; two daughters, Sheryl White of Saraland, AL, and Amber Morris of Brewton, AL; one brother, Weldon Tabers, Jr. of Brewton, AL; one sister, Peggy (Robert) Coleman; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Flomaton Funeral Home with Bro. Mitch Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Dell Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Flomaton Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Sunday.

Tammy Gail Kagarise

January 13, 2022

Tammy Gail Kagarise, native of Cantonment, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 10, 2022.

She was born to Lloyd “Dusty” Donald Rhodes and Charlotta Sweeny Rhodes on April 5, 1964. Tammy dedicated 20 years of work to NAS Pensacola as a DFAS Accountant, and 12 years as an employee at Grocery Advantage in Cantonment. Tammy will be most remembered by her family and friends as the most giving, kind, caring person. She would be the first person to assist the people she cared for without hesitation or second thought. Tammy enjoyed spending time at the beach, cheering for her loved ones at sporting events, and just surrounding herself with her family members.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotta Sweeny Rhodes.

Tammy is survived by her father, Lloyd “Dusty” Rhodes and step-mother, Geraldine Rhodes; sons, William (Kristi) Kagarise and Russell (Kayla) Rhodes; sister, Tina (Jack) Martin; fiancé, Ralph Sonneland; grandchildren, Kailyn, Hunter, Ashlynn and Cole Kagarise; Nieces, Nicole (Damian) Campbell, TJ (Cody) Lepley, Mariah (Russell) Mcanally, Kristen (Josh) Harvey; Nephew, Trey (Alesha) Campbell; along with many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be William Kagarise, Jack Martin, Trey Campbell, Patrick Bridges, Jeff Sonneland and Froy Heist.

Funeral services will be held at Faith Chapel North, Monday, January 17, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m.

Burial to follow in Bayview Cemetery, Pensacola, Florida.

Ms. Sharon Diane Spivey, age 68, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022 in Mobile, Alabama. She resided most of her life in Century, FL.

She valued her time she got to spend with her family. She enjoyed fishing, dancing, watching Alabama Football, and Nascar Racing.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, John Etheridge and Annie Mae (Wiggins) Bell one brother: Akron Lindsey and three sisters; Mary Lois Lindsey, Helen Wilson, and Pearl Wilson.

She is survived by her two sons, Casey Townson (Dusty Wooten) of Atmore, AL, Bryan (Kim) McGhee of Atmore, AL; one God Child; Haley Odom, one daughter, Angela (Mark) McGowin of Grand Bay, AL; one brother; Winston (Joan) Lindsey of Brewton, AL; two sisters, Judy (Bo) Franklin, of Brewton, AL; Jackie (Willie Jo) Holmes, of Brewton, AL; special sister, Pam Payne, twelve grandchildren, Madison, Anna, Cameron, Brylynn, Braeden, T.J., Maci, Jacob, Casey, Maxwell, Kaylea, Dakota, five great-grandchildren, Harper, Berkleigh, Cason, Aubrey, and Rylee and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Eddie Lee Osborn, 97, of Cantonment, FL passed away on January 7, 2022.

Graveside services will be held at 3PM on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Peavey Town Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. prior to services at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North.

Renina Ann Macks

Renina Ann Macks, a native of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on Saturday January 1, 2022.

She was born to Acie Ray Dickerson, Sr. and Darlene Mary Kosloski on April 18, 1960.

Preceded by her mother Darlene and brother David Wayne, Renina is survived by her two children Natasshia and Joshua Macks, grandchildren Hunter, Destiny and Maddix, father Acie Ray Dickerson Sr., and 3 brothers Acie, Curtis and Nathan. Renina lived for her family and spent her live raising one that she saw grow through 2 children and 3 grandchildren. She spent her time with those she loved, passing down family recipes and creativity. She was a member of St. Jude and often spent her time participating in church bazaars selling her woodworks. As her children grew, she supported their creative outlets from as much as sewing every costume in the school plays to baking all night for that last minute notice cake walk. Renina will always be remembered for the love and support she offered to those around her.

Roy C. Mack, Jr.

Roy C. Mack, Jr., native of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021.

He was born to Roy Cleave Mack, Sr. and Mary Estelle Gideons Mack on May 19, 1950. Roy served his country in the U. S. Army serving a tour in the Vietnam War.

He worked on tug boats, did brick work in Pensacola and later owned his own business.

Roy enjoyed working in his church and was able to go on a missionary trip to an orphanage in Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Roy is survived by his wife, Mary Angelia “Angie” Mack; sons, Jesse Roy Mack and William Samson; daughter, Tina Denise Mack; sisters Roylene Mack Hairelson and Nona Dallas Mack Destin; brothers, Daniel Donald Nobles and Sidney Sampson Mack.

Pallbears will be Jesse Mack, William Mack, Jay Drake, Wyatt Gibson, Alvin Booth, and Neal Mack.

Myrtle Frances “Grandma Fran” Elliott Snelson Fournier

Fran Fournier, 75, went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 30, 2021.

Mrs. Fournier was preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Robert N. Fournier; daughter, Teresa Snelson; son, Terry Snelson; mother, Myrtle Elliott; sisters, JoAnn Reeves & Sybil Schachle.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Jesse (Austina) Snelson, Nicholas (Bailie) Snelson, Sydney (Jessi) Spears, Janna (Dan) Rubbert, Johanna (Cayleb) Clark, Lukas (Michelle) Snelson, Jared Snelson, Jamie (Brad) Snelson & Nate Phillips; Great-grandchildren, Airien Baker, Lauren Snelson, Gioia Ramswell, Aelianna Spears, Anthony Snelson, Adeline Rubbert & Canaan Clark; brother-in-law, John Schachle; cousin, Buddy Griffin; special friend, Beth O’Farrell; daughter-in-law, Tammy Spencer & faithful companions, Molly & Fetty (fur babies).

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cantonment and previous member of First Baptist Church of Cottage Hill. Fran was strong in her faith and looked to her Lord and Savior through good times & bad.
“Grandma Fran” was well known for her volunteer work throughout Escambia County. Many lives were touched in a positive way by Fran’s selflessness and dedication to helping others. Her cherished memory will live on in the lives of those she touched.

Family visitation will be at Faith Chapel South, 100 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola, FL 32505 on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Visitation for friends will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at Faith Chapel South on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Audrey Faye Smelley Holder

January 7, 2022

Audrey Faye Smelley Holder was born to Ed and Leavy Smelley in Covington County, Alabama on June 13, 1934. She died surrounded by her family on January 6, 2022 in Pensacola, Florida.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings LC Smelley, Lillie Mae Still, and Eddie Lee Davis; her daughter Benita King; and her grandson Chad Williamson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Harold Holder, her brother Emmette Smelley, daughters Deborah Andrews, Teresa (Ronnie) Williamson, and Belinda (David) Perry; her grandchildren Melissa (Mike) Renacker, Bobby King, Tim (Heidi) Andrews, Joni (Andrew) Wills, Marissa (Lewis) Garvin, Austin Perry, and Moriah (Kevin) Polanco, along with eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Audrey worked at Monsanto from 1957 to 1989 as the plant’s first female mechanic. After retiring from Monsanto, she and Harold operated Crossroads Service Center in Molino, Florida, hosting friends for coffee and conversation throughout the years. She was a faithful member of Highland Baptist Church for over 60 years. Audrey enjoyed taking trips with her family, travelling to stay in the mountains, seeing Disney World, and visiting family members across the country. She enjoyed hard work and spent her life helping many people, whether it was by her husband’s side or caring for her loved ones.

We take comfort in the knowledge that because of Audrey’s faith in Jesus as her Savior that she is resting in His arms, free from pain. She has left a legacy of faith for her family to follow. The family would like to thank the staff in the inpatient unit at Covenant Hospice for the compassionate care in Audrey’s last days on earth.

Services will be held Monday, January 10, 2022, at Highland Baptist Church in Molino, Florida. Visitation will be at 10:00 am with the funeral immediately following at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Highland Baptist Church to purchase Gideon Bibles in memory of Audrey Holder.

Lynn Fowler

Lynn Fowler, age 74, of Mooresburg, TN passed away on December 26, 2021. She was born on January 25, 1947 in San Diego, CA to Elon Waite and Lee Madeline Jobe. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Patricia Ann Laster and two step-children, Chris Fowler and David Fowler.

She is survived by her husband, Leon C. Fowler; her son, David Martin; her step-children, Eric Fowler, Michael Fowler, Francine Raimondi, Catherine Raia, Cynthia Piercy and Julianna Fowler; her sister, Peggy J. Laster; her grandchildren, Andrew Martin, Graham Martin and Katlyn Martin; her nephew, Jordan Stadefer and her niece, Shea Standefer.

Graveside services were held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Barren Baptist Church Cemetery in Davisville, FL with Pastor Oscar Seara officiating. Interment followed at Pine Barren Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was held Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore, AL.
