I wish they would have let us play these teams when we were seniors but knaw they had to pick the hardest schedule in the book for us ….

Great job both teams getting to this point in the playoffs. Best of luck to both and may the best team advance. I know there has been a lot of controversity but it is time to play the game. I would like to mention that I am proud that there is a Rural Division championship to compete for and it was a long time coming. The last four teams standing will get a chance to be the first Rural Division winner and make a bit of history. I have read where some have said angry things about the FHSAA but without the effort of the rural committee, the board of directors, and the Executive Director all this would not have been possible. We now have a level playing field and one of the final four teams has 219 students Jefferson Co. and Union Count has about 600, Northview about 540, and Chipley about 570. As we go forward with the new Rural Division athletics in the rural schools of Florida will only get better. Again best of luck to the final four.
