Drivers are still urged to use caution in North Escambia after Saturday’s floods.

Highway 29 in North Escambia has been reopened..

Caution should also be used at the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 29. There may still be mud on the road from the floods.

Authorities are encouraging people to stay home in North Escambia and avoid travel, especially in the Molino and Cantonment areas.

Does anyone know if Hwy. 29, between Molino Rd. and Fran’s is open. If it is not, do you think it will be open by 9AM? Anyone. I have no idea how long it will take to recede. Thanks for any info on that, now or in the morning, by 8:30AM.

I have been following northescambia.com coverage of the storm since 4 this morning. It has been amazing. Every few minutes there are details of what we need to know. The Pensacola New Journal, channel 3, channel 5 —everybody could take lessons from northescambia.com. And they even had pictures. Amazing job!

Any chance you have info about the Jay, Flomaton area? Many of the people in the Century area are in the dark.
