Flomaton Beats Mobile Christian

The Flomaton Hurricanes beat Mobile Christian 18-13 Friday night Flomaton.

Mobile Christian took an early lead 7-0 on a 14-yard run.

But Flomaton cashed in on a short keeper from quarterback Da’quan “Money” Johnson. With a missed extra point, the Leopards were still on top 7-6.

In the second quarter, it was pay dirt again for Johnson into the endzone on a 30-yard run to put the Hurricanes on top 12-7.

Johnson was in again from 64-yards out for Flomaton in the third as they cruised to the win.

Johnson, a Troy State commit, had 220 yards on 23 carries on the night. Travon Brown had 11 carries for 49 yards.

The Flomaton Hurricanes (6-1. 3-1) will host Thomasville (2-4, 2-1) next Friday night.
