Johnny Robert Stringer, Sr. 66 of Cantonment, Florida, passed away April 01, 2025. He was born in Pensacola, Florida on July 05, 1958 to Luke and Bernice Stringer. He was married to Kathy Clopton Stringer for 34 years. Johnny had a career in oil, gas, and construction. He was a member of Farm Hill Church and had a passion for family gatherings, boating, and sports.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luke and Bernice Stringer; son, Preston Luke Stringer; daughter, Crystal Dunaway Robinson; sisters, Diane Stringer and Janice Stringer; brothers, William Earl Stringer and Jimmy Earl Stringer; and nephew, William Earl Stringer, Jr. “EJ”.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Clopton Stringer; sons, Jason Stringer of Cantonment and Johnny Stringer, Jr. of Cantonment; 6 grandchildren, Dayton Robinson of Cantonment, Clayton Stringer of Cantonment, Aidan Robinson of Cantonment, Talan Robinson of Cantonment, Braydon Stringer of Cantonment and Kataleia Robinson of Cantonment; sister, Joyce Stringer (Clyde) Hughes of Molino; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Stringer enjoyed his work as a construction superintendent. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

A celebration of life service will be held at Farm Hill Church, 140 Madrid Road, Cantonment, Florida 32533.
