Louis Camacho

Louis Camacho, age 66, from Cantonment, Florida passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025. Louis was born in East Bernard, Texas on August 25, 1958 to Apollonia and Jesus Camacho. He worked in the carpentry industry and was a carpenter for over 40 years. Louis enjoyed being outside building things, yardwork, and he loved to cook, especially barbecue and making breakfast for his kids and grandchildren. He also loved playing with his grandchildren. Each morning Louis would read his Bible and watch preachers on t.v. The morning of the day he passed away, the preacher brought a message on being prepared for heaven. Louis prayed, telling Jesus he was ready to come home to be with Him. The family feels that God answered Louis’ prayer.

Louis is survived by his wife Sharon of 38 years, sons Louis Cody Ray Camacho and his friend Varvara Marchenko, Timothy Allen Camacho and his wife Heather; his grandchildren Dominic Louis Allen Camacho, Adelita Michelle Camacho, Bentley James Scoggins Payne; his brother Anthony “Tony” Perez and his wife Mary Jane; sisters, Ruby Marthinez, Lydia Rojas, Janie Vega, and her husband, Pablo, Maria Esquivel and her husband Augustine; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Louis was preceded in death by his mother Apollonia Camacho, step-father Domingo Perez, brother, Domingo Perez, Jr., brother Richard “Ricky” Camacho, sister Benta Mendoza, nieces Vivian Michelle Moreno and nephew Adrian Marthinez.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 29th with visitation at 10:30 a.m. and the service at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Baptist Church, 6240 Highway 95A North, Molino, FL with Bro. Josh Helton officiating.
