June Gayle Morgan

June Gayle Morgan, 85, of Pensacola, passed away Saturday, December 7th, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on November 17, 1939, in Whitehouse Forks, Alabama to Joel and Melvina Rider.

June was a full-time homemaker throughout her life as well as a part time employee of the Pensacola Auto Auction for nearly 20 years. She enjoyed bowling, camping and traveling with family and friends, shopping, and playing games such as cards and dominoes. June was known for, and will always be remembered by, her kindness, love, compassion, intelligence, wisdom, acceptance, and positivity.

Preceded in death are her loving husband, Charles Morgan; parents, Joel and Melvina Rider; brother, Randy Rider; and grandson, Shawn Thompson.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving daughters, Brenda Powell (Tommy) and Janet Jernigan (Johnny); grandsons, Jason Morgan (Natalie), Joey Carter, John Jernigan (Charley), granddaughter, Joell Jernigan (Katie); great grandchildren, Triston, Laela, Conner, Lindsie, Mason, Caleb, Dakoda, Isaac, Jaxson, Jace, Shawn, Christopher, Bryson, Maddox, Noah, Sophia; great-great grandchildren, Jayden, Maddalynn, Abbigayle, Aleyna; and sister, Jody Putnum. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, great friend, and a light in many lives.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2024, at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home until services begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Fred Stallworth officiating.

Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jason Morgan, Joey Carter, John Jernigan, Johnny Jernigan, Conner Morgan, and Caleb Carter.
