As Hurricane Milton has now exited our great state, the desperate folks of central Florida will soon begin complaining that the power company is too slow getting their power back on. That’s seems to be human nature.
What these folks fail to realize is, more than anyone else the power companies wants your power back on. If you aren’t using electricity, they aren’t making any money!
But, it has to be restored methodically and most importantly, safely!
When the linemen and restoration crews get to your neighborhood, take a moment to thank them. These brave men and women are away from their families, working very long hours, often in horrendous conditions, and doing their very best to restore electricity to you and your family.
