Patsy Faye Carter

Patsy Faye Carter, 71, of Lynn Haven, Florida, passed away May 6, 2024. She was born October 17, 1952 to the late Louis Sims and Daisy McGhee Sims. Patsy had a career working in the office of Emerald Coast OBGYN in Panama City, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Dale Sims, and her mother and father-in-law, Evelyn and Earl Carter.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert E. Carter; three children, Robert Carter, Jr., Jeffrey Carter (Nealie White), and Kimberly Zinn (Michael Martin); one great grandchild, Phoebe Carter; one brother, Winfred A. Sims (Charlotte); brother-in-law, Tim Carter (Dee); a very special aunt, Eloise Stewart; uncle, Aubury McGhee; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services for Patsy Faye Carter will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with Gina Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation the night prior, Friday, May 10, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Patsy will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore, Alabama.

Pallbearers include Matthew Burke, Byron Davis, Chad Sims, Jordan Carter, Hendrik Rehbein, and Scotty Stewart.

Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, 1000 South Highway 29, Cantonment, is entrusted with arrangements.
