Jonathon Gilbert “Gil” Casey, 58, of Cantonment, Florida, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 9, 2024. He was born in Pensacola, Florida on February 23, 1966 to William Robert Casey and Donna White Casey. Gil graduated from Tate High School in 1985. He served his country in the Navy Reserves. He was married to Fay Marie Bowman Casey for eighteen years. Gil had a career in medical transportation. He was a member of Olive Baptist Church and had a passion for Faith, Family, Friends, Football and Fishing!

He was preceded in death by his father, William Robert Casey; paternal grandfather, Zearl Oliver Casey; paternal grandmother, Mary Haynes Casey; maternal grandfather, Royce Gilbert White; maternal grandmother, Camera Ozell White.

He is survived by his wife, Fay Casey; daughters, Gabriella Joy (Lin) Brewer, Hannah Marie Casey, Shania Gleen Bray Casey, Claira Pearl Creech Casey; step son, Joseph Edward Bowman; mother, Donna White Casey; brothers, Mark Alan (Jerri Lynn) Casey, Michael Aaron (Michele R.) Casey; sister, Janice Ruth Casey; granddaughter, Nova Reign Brewer; step grandson, Dakota; step granddaughter, Summer. Numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and many loving friends.

The “Celebration of Life” honoring Jonathon Gilbert “Gil” Casey is planned for Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 4:00 pm. Supper will follow at 5:00 pm. Please join us in the Heritage Hall of Hillcrest Baptist Church and share your memories of this wonderful man.
