Escambia, Santa Rosa Schools To Dismiss As Usual Friday Afternoon After Delayed Starts

Escambia and Santa Rosa County schools will dismiss at the usual time Friday afternoon after a delayed morning start due to a forecasted severe weather potential.

Northview High, Ernest Ward Middle, Bratt Elementary, and Byrneville Elementary schools are closed today following early morning storms.

Escambia County (FL) Public Schools delayed school start times by one hour on Friday. Santa Rosa County Schools delayed start times by two hours.

ll scheduled before-school activities were canceled.
