Richard Broughton

Richard Broughton, 84, of Cantonment, passed away March 21, 2024. He was born in Monroeville, AL on October 17, 1939 to Milton and Authurine Broughton. Richard worked as a Beaming Operator for The Monsanto Company until he retired in 1985. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Broughton, his parents Milton and Authurine Broughton, his brothers Willie Broughton and O’Neal Broughton.

He is survived by his sons Richard (Rose), Dennis (Cynthia), Danny (Shannon), Lee, Tony, Carvin, Brian (Norma), and Dwayne (Emma); his siblings Milton Broughton, Caroline (Randolph) Scurry, Billie (Henrietta) Broughton, Katie (Wade) Broughton-Brown; his grandchildren Pam, Allicia, Nileela, Jasmine, Sante (Mariah), Rane, Lee, Jr., Antonio, Chelsea, Shaquille, Bianca, Deondra, LaFaye, Joe, and Samuel. He also leaves behind his beloved friend, Juanita Grandison and her children, Beverly, Samuel, Ernest, Yolanda, and Charnita (Shawn), as well as a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Visitation services will be held from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, 1000 S. Highway 29, Cantonment, Florida 32533. Graveside services will follow at 12:15pm at Williams Cemetery, 2523 US-29, Cantonment, Florida 32533.
