Billy Joe Cox, 54, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on March 3, 2024. He was born in Pensacola, Florida on February 22, 1970 to Joe and Kay Cox. He had a career in drywall and he had a passion for fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Kay Cox; grandparents, Sam and Estelle McGhee; aunt, Stella Arrant; nephew, Kenneth Lee McGrobie.
He is survived by his sister, Mickey Darlene McGrobie; uncle, Dewitt McGhee; uncle and aunt, Dewey and June McGhee; aunt, Sandra Chambers; uncle and aunt Sally and Jerry Bryant; uncle, Larry Goff. A host of cousins and many, many friends.
Pallbearers will be Reese, Shug, Troy, Zeke, Corky and Dewey. Honorary pallbearer will be Keith Parker (Bubba).
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 1:00pm at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North.
Visitation will be one hour prior at 12:00pm. Burial will be at New Home Cemetery in Atmore, Alabama.
Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, 1000 South Highway 29, Cantonment, Florida, is entrusted with arrangements.
