First Responders Put On Christmas Light Show For Children’s Hospital Patients
December 25, 2023
The Child, the Child sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light.
He will bring us goodness and light.
For the fourth year, local first responders gathered outside the Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart Christmas Eve night. Children and families inside watched as the first responders gathered outside waving, every emergency light flashing. A few minutes to say they care about the children inside and shine a little light for those who can’t be home this Christmas Eve.
The Pensacola Police Department, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Highway Patrol, Pensacola Fire Department, and more made Christmas a bit brighter for those in the children’s hospital.
The Child, the Child sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light.

Great thing to see. Good news.
Such a great example of the Christmas spirit – to
bring joy and happiness to others, especially children
who must be in the hospital at Christmas.
D ITTO TO TO SCOTT & STEVE!
Thanx to all who participated and those who helped to make this happen!
This is how we are supposed to treat one another. With compassion and consideration!
My thoughts and well wishes go out to everyone.
Stay safe everyone.
Now THAT’S something I don’t mind my tax dollars being spent on.
THANK YOU FIRST RESPONDERS!
This is so sweet. Thanks for doing this for these kids.
