Open House Thursday Morning At Molino Forestry Station
October 23, 2023
The Florida Forest Service’s Molino Forestry Station will host an open house Thursday, October 26 as part of Florida Forests Week.
Florida Forests Week was created in 2015 in partnership with the Florida Forestry Association and is celebrated annually, this year from October 22-28.
The event in Molino will be from 8:30-11:30 am Thursday and will focus on sharing tips and tricks on improving forested land, the benefits of prescribed fire as well as an overview of the services offered by the Florida Forest Service to help landowners better manage their property.
The Florida Forest Service’s Molino Forestry Station is located on Highway 29, under the fire tower just south of Highway 196.

That is totally cool (1972) Grady.
I remember climbing the tower at Lottie/Red Town, signed the log book. Winter 1972.
wonder if they let you climb up the huge fire lookout tower. I’ve always wanted to do that.
I wonder if FWC will be there, they usually hangout up there throughout the week.
Interesting! Thanks for the heads up!
