Escambia County School Board District 5 member Bill Slayton and Superintendent Tim Smith will hold a town hall meeting Monday evening.
The town hall will take place at 6 p.m. in the Tate High School cafeteria and is open to the public.
The other four school members previously held town hall meetings over the past several weeks.

Does the board know there is life north of Cantonment?
Bill Slayton and Patty Hightower never miss an opportunity to raise taxes. Neither one apparently live within a budget. They always want to dig deeper into your pocket for more money. Its time that both of them to find a job in the private sector.
Hopefully this is Slaytons last term.
Election is coming.
Maybe super can go with him.
Waste of time. Bill lost my vote when he voted to not give the vote back to the people.
It DOES NOT do any good to have a town hall meeting by “some” of the School Board members. Patty Hightower and Bill Slayton are the two I’m referring to. It just goes in one ear and out the other. It’s very obvious because “nothing” has changed. BUT, you can count on one thing…if we will “decide RIGHT NOW” what we will do come election time, THEN maybe they’ll listen “NEXT TIME!!”
@ JTV you are absolutely correct.
@ Oversight you are absolutely correct.
These two are afraid to let the people vote.
Bill Slayton is last in the class again. Most other board members held town halls over a month ago.
