Heightened Security Procedures At NAS Pensacola, Expect Delays

April 14, 2023

NAS Pensacola – as well as all other U.S. Navy installations – has set a heightened security posture.

Department of Defense (DoD) identification card holders will be granted access to the installation, and DoD escorting privileges are still permitted.

But NAS Pensacola said individuals can expect delays at gates.

Your Comment is incorrect Sir, they have never restricted anyone from visiting their loved ones , as a matter of fact if you was to arrive after the Visitor Center is closed they actually Provide a Escort.

But like everything else, you have to wait your turn.and you need a VALID ID CARD ( DRIVERS LICENSE WILL SUFFICE) .

Remember the Police Department has alot more duties to perform than just Cemetery escorts .

The Visitor Center is open from 7am to 3pm 7 Days a week, you are more than welcome to visit there and submit an application for a Cemetery pass.

They keep making it more and more difficult for us to visit my parents gravesite. So sad that all this security started because they are training Saudi and other foreign fighters, they mess up and we American citizens then get restricted from visiting our loved ones and can’t take our kids to the museum anymore.
