Johnson has taught for 29 years and is currently a third grade teacher.

Mrs. Johnson is a phenomenal teacher!! What an amazing honor for Kingsfield Elementary to have TWO Third Grade teachers make it into the top 5 finalists in back to back years……Congratulations!!
it is my great pleasure to have Melanie for my daughter. I love her very much, and I am very proud of her. She loves teaching, is very passionate about it, and very good at what she does. Her peers and students think very highly of her. I am thrilled that she found her purpose in life and has been living it for 29 years.
