By The Numbers: How Many Calls Did Escambia Fire Rescue Answer Last Month?

Escambia Fire Rescue responded to 152 fires during October.

The department’s 1,688 calls also included 208 vehicle crashes and 462 medical calls.

    I’d like to see the numbers separated in the medical category, like how many fentanyl overdoses and not label them cardiac arrest.

    Thank you to all of our FIRE and EMS.
    I am especially grateful for you stepping up to the plate for a high risk career. Fires can maim or kill someone in literally seconds and these brave men and women go into the fire.

    If raising my taxes means they get a raise then so be it.

    Should charge the at fault drivers$250
    Stupid fires $500. Over cooking,too much on electric cord,smoking,etc
    Overdose medical runs $500
    just a thought,public shouldn’t pay for STUPID

    I’ve made a few of those calls in the past for my husband. Thank God for those first responders. I don’t know if he would still be with me if they would have been there so quick.
