Mr. Robert Leroy McCall, age 78, passed away, Friday, August 19, 2022 in Atmore, AL; surrounded by family at his bedside. He resided most of his life in Atmore, AL. He retired from the United States National Guard with many years of service.

Mr. McCall enjoyed fishing, “Alabama Football” and Tab Benoit music.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John O’Bannon McCall and Cynthia Murl Comlander McCall, two sisters, Gayle Juanita Smith, and Helen Luverne Hughes.

He is survived by his one son, Robert “Ro” (Shannon) McCall, of Atmore, AL; one step-son, Dachary (Laura) McGowan, of Atmore, AL; one daughter, Michele (Jimmy) Jay, of Atmore, AL; two step-daughters, Brandi (Charles) Snell, of Saraland, AL; Jenny (Gary) Weaver, of Mobile, AL; one brother, John (Maxine) McCall, of Bratt, FL; four sisters, Annie Ruth Bryan, of Atmore, AL; Pauline (Horce) Pickern, of Bratt, FL; Nancy Smith, of Atmore, AL; Debbie Cribbs, of Pensacola, FL; thirteen grandchildren, Mikie (Holly) McCurdy, Jonathan (Brandy) McCurdy, Christopher (Stormy) McCurdy, Ashlynn “BabyGirl” McCall, Joshua Blake McCall, Kyleigh McCall, Mia Nichole Conner, Bubba McGowan, Breanna McGowan, Cheyenne Snell, Kennedy Weaver, Kolton Weaver, Kaydence Weaver, six great-grandchildren, Robert McCurdy, Chloe McCurdy, Wiley McCurdy, Gabriel McCurdy, Marina McCurdy, Tristan McCurdy, other relatives, and friends.
