William E. “Bill” Patrick

William E. “Bill” Patrick was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 6,2022.
He was born in Columbus, Georgia on February 23 , 1955, to the late William Zeke and Doris Faye
Patrick. ln addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michae Jay Patrick and Father-in-law Duerwood A. Willis.

He is survived by his loving Wife of 37 years, Darenda Patrick; devoted Son, William E. Patrick lll (Suzanna); his adoring Granddaughter, Payton Patrick; Step-Granddaughter Payton Hill; Brother, Mark Patrick; and Mother-in-Law, Mary F. Willis. He is also survived by his Sisters-in-law Brenda Nix, Debra Jones (Tommy), Sheila Willis (Lee); Brothers-in-law Ronnie Willis (Lisa) and Gary Willis (Nancy). He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Bill leaves behind an honorable legacy as a man who always stood up for what was right. His dedication as a husband, father, and grandfather galvanizes this legacy. While family and friends often benefited from his kind words and actions, it was not unlikely for complete strangers to be treated with the same acts of kindness. Bill loved tending to his horses at the farm, yelling “War Eagle” at the Bama Fans and spreading smiles with his sense of humor. Bill will be missed by those who love him and his love for them will never be replaced. The memories will forever be warming to their hearts.

Pallbearers will be Phil Nix, Johnny Jones, Wesley Gunter, Logan Hodges, Trevor Etheridge, Michael Sherrill, Scooter Nix, and Dalton Etheridge.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Weeks, Tommy Wales, Johnny Faulk, Chris Jones, Mark Serley, Jack Mitchem, Terry Brown, Johnny Jones, Nick Bouzios, Brent Etheridge, Howard Penton, Tommy Henry, Paul Vaughn, Kenny Bedsole, Mike Campbell, and Ricky Smith.

Faith Chapel Funeral Home North has been entrusted with arrangements, 1000 S. Hwy 29, Cantonment, FL 32533.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 1.4,2022,from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Friday, July 15, 2022, aI 12:00 p.m. Final resting place will be at Bayview Memorial Park, 3351 Scenic Hwy #90E, Pensacola, FL 32503.
ln lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made online to the Wounded Warrior Project or to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 800 E. 9 Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32514.
