Harriett (Lynn) Seibert
May 23, 2022
Harriett (Lynn) Seibert, 58, of Molino, FL went to be with the Lord on May 20th, 2022, while surrounded by her family and close friends.
Lynn was born on February 3rd, 1964, to parents Jerry and Kitty Whatley, and she immediately brought joy and laughter to the family and world. Lynn was raised in the Myrtle Grove community and was baptized at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church. Lynn graduated from Escambia High School and later attended Pensacola Junior College where she received her degree in law enforcement. She worked for the Escambia County Sheriff Department and the Clovis Police Department in New Mexico. She later served as a court magistrate in Dothan and then a dispatcher for the Huntsville Police Department before retiring to focus on her family. Our family, as well as our dear friends, always appreciated Lynn’s service to our communities and country.
Lynn fell in love with Steve Seibert and they were wed on December 12th, 1998. Steve and Lynn were happily married for 23 years, and have been inseparable from the day they met. Lynn was a fiercely dedicated mother and grandmother. Lynn and Steve have four children, raising each of them with a solid foundation to allow all of them to accomplish many wonderful things, while most notably, their own loving families. Lynn loved helping others, photography, arts and crafts, baking, and spending time with her family! Family always came first to Lynn above all things. Lynn was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, “Sweet Momma”, daughter, sister, and sister-in-law. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill, but we are at peace knowing she is with our Lord and Savior.
Lynn is survived by her husband, Steve; four children, Brittany (Manny) Navas; Kylie Hutton; Brice (Brittney) Hutton; and Bailey Seibert (Zach Batten); three grandchildren, Melody Hutton, Finley Hutton, and Hugo Navas; parents, Jerry and Kitty Whatley; sister, Vondie (Jimmy) Andrews; nephew, Joshua Bryan Andrews; a large extended family; innumerable friends; and two cats, Franklin and Maxwell.
Please join us in a Celebration of Life, officiated by Rev. Brian Calhoun, at Faith Chapel North, 1000 S. Hwy 29, Cantonment, FL 32533 on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.
