Carolyn Stacey Hadley

Mrs. Carolyn Stacey Hadley, age 67, passed away, Thursday, May 5, 2022 peacefully at her home in Perdido, AL. with her family at her bedside. She retired from Standard Furniture with many years of employment. She was a member of Dyas Assembly of God Church.

Mrs. Hadley loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed fighting and caring on with Danny. She enjoyed reading books, drinking coffee, shopping the Thrift Stores, and going to Tennessee.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luzell (Letha Mae Stewart) Stacey, two brothers, Elbert “Fat Boy” Stacey, Willie “Woobie” Stacey, two sisters, Jeanette Stacey Chafin, and Marrie Hadley.

She is survived by her husband of forty years, Danny Hadley, of Perdido, AL; one son ”Boy” (Megan) Hadley, of Perdido, AL; one daughter, Haley (Aaron) Hadley, of Perdido, AL; two brothers, Bo Stacey, of Rabun, AL; Bob (Lorri) Stacey, of Rabun, AL; two sisters, Joyce Hadley, of Rabun, AL; Dianne (Don) Sanks, of Dyas, AL; ten grandchildren, Mason Hadley, Levi Hadley, Laci Hadley, Lane “Slimy Bazzard” Hadley, Skylar Hadley, Sophia Hadley, Scarlett Hadley, Kamryn Altes, Zoey Jackson, Rustin Foster, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday May 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, LLC with Rev. Don Sanks, Rev. Angelo Thomley, and Sis. Helen Stewart, officiating.

Burial will follow at Dean Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday May 7, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, LLC.

Pallbearers will be Danny Hadley, Boy Hadley, Aaron Hadley, Bruce Jackson, Rustin Foster, Dyson Byrd, and Frank Bryars.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mason Hadley.
