Floyd Aroline Cornett, a resident of Pensacola, Florida passed away on March 6, 2022 at the age of 83.

He was born on December 12, 1938 in Elizabethton, Tennessee to the late Fred and Annie Hinkle Cornett.

Floyd worked at Chemstrand, Monsanto until he retired in 1994. Floyd went back to work at Quest Diagnostics for 23 years until he retired in May of 2021. He was an avid Tennessee fan. He is preceded in death by his Mom and Dad, 4 brothers and 1 sister and several nieces and nephews and great nephews.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Fay Cornett of 59 years, Tammy Ketterman, Craig, Donna Lombardi, Gary Durden, 3 grandchildren; Chuckie Ketterman, Tiffany Durden, Alex (Rebecca) Durden, 2 great grandchildren; Alaska and Ellis; sisters, Earline Phillips and Joyce Henson; brother in law, Jeff.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2022 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive family and friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North.
