Sarah Marette Pitts

Sarah Marette Pitts, 90, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022. She was born on March 29, 1931 in Pensacola, Florida. Sarah was a longtime member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. During her life she enjoyed farming, bowling and fishing. Mostly, she enjoyed and loved her family. Marette was the epitome of a Proverbs 31 woman.
Marette is preceded in death by her parents, William and Eula Renfroe; her husband, Harvey James Pitts; and 8 siblings.
Marette is survived by her four sons, Johnny (Pat) Pitts, Randy (Carol Ann) Pitts, Gregory Pitts, and Kirk (Julie) Pitts; her brother Richard Renfroe; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. The service will follow immediately after the service at 2:00 PM.
Interment will be at Bayview Cemetery. Pastor Johnny Pitts will be officiating.
