Paul Wayne Wells

Paul Wayne Wells (June 26, 1962- January 27, 2022) left these hunting grounds unexpectedly. He was born in Meridian, Mississippi to Patrick Wayne and Amy Lee Wells and moved to Pensacola at the age of four, forever calling Pensacola his home.

Paul was the consummate outdoorsman. He was happiest sitting in a tree stand in the woods or motoring the waters in his boat. Those who knew Paul understood that when you saw him, he was going to have a good story to tell, filled with tall tales and laughter. He was a rugged, kindhearted man who would drop everything to help family, friends, or stranger.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Wayne Wells and son, Jonathan Michael Wells.

Paul is survived by his son Paul Wayne Wells; granddaughter Zoey Wells, Mother; Amy Lee Wells: brother and sisters, Marian Olson (Leonard); Beth Thompson (Tom); Jennifer Werner (Allen); and James Wells (Stephanie). Nephews and Nieces, Christopher Olson (Rebecca), Zachery Wells (Summer), Corey Werner (Amber), Bradley Olson (Ashley), Amanda, Kevin Wells (Kyra), and Stephanie. Grand Nieces and Nephews, Kaleigh, Braden, Yuna, Dylan, Jaxon, Alistair, Taylor, Charlie, Cadence, Lena, Alora, Wyatt, Colt, and Rhyder

Paul was taken from us too soon and we will miss him dearly but take comfort knowing he is in heaven telling Jonathan and Paw Paw a good story about the fish that got away.

Visitation will be held at Faith Chapel Funeral Home, 100 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola FL., February 1, 2022 at 1:00pm with a service at 2:00 pm. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
