Lois Overstreet Morris

Lois Overstreet Morris, age 86, of Atmore, AL passed away January 20, 2022. She was
born on April 23, 1935 in Robinsonville, AL to M. W. and Rosie Godwin Overstreet. She
was a Licensed Practical Nurse who assisted in delivering over 300 babies, many being at
Atmore Community Hospital during her 30 year career. She was a member of Calvary
Deliverance Temple.
She is preceded in death by her father, M.W. Overstreet and her mother, Rosie Godwin
Overstreet Dunn; her daughter, Rita Fay James; three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her son, Steve (Kristina) Morris, Sr. of Atmore, AL; her daughters,
Elaine McKinley of Atmore, AL and Patti Prater of Newnan, GA; her brother, Jim (Vicky)
Overstreet of Atmore, AL; her sisters, Mary Overstreet of California and Diane Dunn of
Mobile, AL; nine grandchildren, Jason, Kari, Sara, Heather, Matthew, Luke, Kathlene,
Will and Steven, Jr. along with seven great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Hill
Cemetery with Sis. Sheila Enfinger and Sis. Eulah Price officiating. Interment will follow
at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Paul Adams, Steven Morris, Jacob Thomas, Matthew McGill,
Brian McGill and Britton Morris.
