Shirley Ann Owens

Mrs. Shirley Ann Owens, age 74, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at her Flomaton residence.

Mrs. Owens was born in Brewton, AL and had been a life-long resident of the Flomaton area. She worked as a bookkeeper for Owens Customizing & Collision. She loved her grandbabies, including watching Mical march in the Sound of the South Band at Troy University and spending vacations and summers with her Illinois grandbabies. She was a faithful Christian, and was a member of Little Escambia Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard Lloyd Cash and Cora Owens Cash; three brothers, Barney Cash, O.D. Cash, and William Cash; four sisters, Dorothy McCurdy, Mildred Cash, Bobbie Frazier, and Wanda Cash.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Owens of Flomaton, AL; son, Billy (Cassidy) Owens of Flomaton, AL; daughter, Tammy (Dwayne) Barker of Brownstown, IL; brothers, George Cash of Bay Minette, AL, Gene Cash of Franklin, TN, Odell (Linda) Cash of Huntsville, AL, and Milford Cash of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Joyce (Al) Erskin of Austin, TX, Rebecca Cash of Pensacola, FL, Linda Batte of Brewton, AL, and Paula “Goldy” Cash of Mobile, AL; five grandchildren, Dusty (Jennifer) Barker of Brownstown, IL, Tabitha (Bradley) Rusk of Vandalia, IL, Mical Owens of Flomaton, AL, and Lanier Cash Owens of Flomaton, AL.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from the chapel of Flomaton Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Hill officiating.

Interment was at Happy Valley Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lee Owens, Mitch Owens, Kevin Owens, Travis Owens, Ralph Hayes, and Mike Owens.
