Cody was employed with the Escambia County School District, where he worked in the maintenance shop as a carpenter. Woodworking was his passion, and in the last few years he began building furniture and barns, as well as outdoor patio/pool decks, which led to his business, Cobb’s Custom Carpentry. Cody was a member of the Cantonment Masonic Lodge No. 322 for the past two years. He enjoyed the brotherhood within the lodge and spent many days and nights with his masonic brothers. Cody lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures- spending time with family and friends, taking trips, and watching his FSU Seminoles or his Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed surprising his family with last minute trips and taking his daughters to the zoo or the drive through safari. Cody loved history, especially in reference to Pensacola. This was evident by his colorful tattoos, which represented Pensacola to the fullest. Cody never met a stranger.
