Marion Bluford Bailey

Marion Bluford Bailey passed away on September 15, 2021 in Pensacola, Florida.

He was born on September 10, 1933 in Jay, Florida to Izelle “Pete” Bailey and Ruth Naomi Gulsby. Marion married Eunice Bailey on August 20, 1955. He worked for Champion for 43 years and retired on October 1, 1995. He also served in the U.S. Army, serving in Germany during the Korean War. Marion loved his family and supported his family and friends whenever he could. He helped others because he wanted to, not because he had to.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Ruth; and brothers, Charles Adon Bailey and Curtis Earl Bailey.

Marion is survived by his wife, Eunice Hall Bailey; daughter, Judy D. Bailey Daley (Carl); sons, Randall “Randy” Marion Bailey (Melodie) and Charles Izelle Bailey; 6 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great, great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Carol Lewis (Gladden); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Victory Assembly of God at 10:30 a.m. with Jeff McKee officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Springs Full Gospel Church. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service.

Pallbearers are Randall Bailey, Charles Bailey, Alec Bailey, Jacob Bailey, Jason Lamb, and Lamar Lamb. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Cruce and Zackary Lamb.
