Lillian Elbia Wood

Mrs. Lillian Elbia Wood, age 71, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 in Bay Minette, AL.

Mrs. Wood was born in Atmore, AL and had been a resident of Milton for the past 28 years, coming from Century, FL.  She loved being a grandmother, great-grandmother, and spending time with her family and friends, and dirt racing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Audrey Gene Wood; her parents, Leon Franklin Sanders and Mercy Jane Anderson; daughter, Tammy Lynn Wood; sisters, Velma Hendrix, Luverne Sanders, and Barbara Ann Wood; and brothers, Lonnie Sanders, Buford Sanders, and Roy Sanders.

Mrs. Wood is survived by two sons, Lynn (Tonya) Wood of California, and Chris (Natasha) Wood of Flomaton; two daughters, Marie (Eddie) Peek of Flomaton, April (Kenny) Wood of Bay Minette; a niece, Betty Jo Kitchens; grandchildren, Bobby (Savana) Wood, Khrys (Erika) Wood, Dustyn Wood, Samantha (Skyler) Burgess, Jamie Peek, Jessica Peek, Angel (Blake) Ard, Robin Ard, Mason Lail, and Phenix Voorhees; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Flomaton Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Carnley officiating.  Interment will follow in Cora Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Flomaton Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.

Pallbearers:  Khrys Wood, Dustyn Wood, Bobby Wood, Brian Wood, Eric Wood, A.J. Fraley, Kenny Voorhees, and Allen Inman.
