The Escambia County number is current data compiled each day from the local hospitals.
**On cases by location, the city is based upon zip code and is not always received as part of the initial notification. There may be a delay in reporting locations, and locations will not total the daily case increase as a result.
***The Florida Department of Health does not have a clear standard or definition of “recovered” and does not report a number of recovered individuals. Escambia County is reporting an approximate recovery number defined as the total cases prior to last month, minus deaths. In other words, anyone that tested positive more than a month ago is presumed to have recovered by Escambia County.

@Ain’tNoWay
If only less people thought like you
AINT, how many people have died from covid? a bunch. how many have died from the shot, none that i know of. people can still get covid after being vaccinated because it is not 100% effective and has never claimed to be. some day i hope to know as much about covid as you do.
RIGHT ON DEAN!!!
@Dean When calling people fools look in the mirror. Covid-19 has a 99 plus percent survival rate. People are dying from the spike proteins and prions in the vaccine. No one needs a vaccine for covid-19. If the vaccine does not prevent you from getting the virus and it does not, why get it. The CDC says fully vaccinated people still get the virus and some die from it. How can you get herd immunity if the vaccine does not stop you from getting the virus. The only way to herd immunity is natural immunity. Don’t make yourself look foolish with such posts.
Come on folks. Don’t be foolish! Only about 27 % of folks in Escambia county has been fully vaccinated. I’ve never seen so many misguided people when I hear reasons for not getting vaccinated! Don’t show the rest of Florida and the US and world just how many ignorant people live here. Get vaccinated and stop having unfounded fears about it. There’s absolutely no basis for the fears people have. What a bunch of fools!
