Lelia Frances Hayles

Mrs. Lelia Frances Hayles, age 88, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 in Atmore, AL.

Mrs. Hayles was a lifelong residence of the Atmore area, but a native of Moyeville, AL. She was a master gardener, loved the outside working with her plants. Mrs. Hayles attended the Poarch Community Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Ruby Burkett; seven siblings, Susie Mae Burkett Penton, Mose “Buddy” Burkett, Shefford “Shep” Burkett, Rochele Burkett, Charles Burkett, Joseph “Joe” Burkett and Dempsey “Demp” Burkett.

She is survived by her husband Edison Hayles of Poarch, AL; one son, Kimble N. Davis of Poarch, AL; one daughter, Gaye Davis King of Poarch, AL; two brothers, Robert Burkett and Arthur Burkett; five sisters, Reatha Burkett Emmons, Essie Burkett Amadeo, Mary Burkett Daniels, Edwina Burkett Calloway and Natasha Burkett Satterwhite; two grandchildren Jonathon Taylor and Justin Taylor of Fairhope, AL; four great- grandchildren, Jonathon Taylor Jr, Selby- Marie Taylor, Henry Taylor and William Taylor

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Petty -Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC. with Chaplain Gabe Hallaway officiating.

Burial will follow at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 2:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM at the Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC.

Pallbearers will be John Lee Davis, Robbie Hayles, Jody Hayles, Justin Taylor, Jonathon Taylor Sr. and Jonathon Taylor Jr.
