Larry Lamar Smallwood

Mr. Larry Lamar Smallwood, age 69, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 in Atmore, Alabama.

Mr. Smallwood was a native and former resident of Macon, GA and had resided in Atmore, AL for the past 12 years. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, fishing and hunting. He was a mechanic and veteran of the Vietnam Conflict with the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Lillian Smallwood and siblings, Kathy Smallwood, Roland Smallwood, Wayne Smallwood, Melvin Smallwood and Jerry Smallwood.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Connie Smallwood of Atmore, AL; two sons, Junior Smallwood of Atmore, AL and David Smallwood of Atmore, AL; three daughters, Tracie Hinton of Atmore, AL, Melaidy Weaver of Atmore, AL and Shannon (Jeffery) Norwood of Atmore, AL; one brother, Eddie Smallwood of Macon, GA; four sisters, Patricia Roland of Macon, GA, Sheila Fuller of Macon, GA, Frances Smith of Lava Hot Springs, ID and Sherry (Junior) Ashley of Macon, GA; nine grandchildren, Cameron (Jennifer) Hinton, Jacob Smallwood, Randall Weaver, Kaitlynn Weaver, Chloe Weaver, Reevise Weaver, Noah Norwood, Kinsley Norwood and Elijah Brooks; three great grandchildren, Brooklynn Weaver, Kyler Weaver and Bentley Stewart and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
