    ANSWERING:
“What are the organizers of this event afraid of?”

Dying early. Killing others early. Persistent illness or disabilities.

    AND
“If this were a true health crisis, would we need the media reminding us of it 24/7?”

    So it seems.

What are the organizers of this event afraid of?

You’d think after more than a year has gone by, people would wake up to this farce.

If this were a true health crisis, would we need the media reminding us of it 24/7?

Why do you think the masks are so important? Because without the visual reminder of masked people everywhere, no one would even know that there’s anything unusual going on.

This is sad Pensacola can have there big run downtown events but century cannot have the only thing they have a year. People in century need this just to have hope that things are finally getting back to normal if only a little bit. SAD

I hate to see all of these events canceled because of covid. No doubt this virus has been bad, but people need to get on with their lives. Covid did cure the flu and if a older adult dies, they always tag the death as covid. Now they say even if you get the shot we will still be on lock down, at some point people get herd immunity and this most likely would have already happened if everybody had went on with their life!
