Amber Dawn Anderson

Amber Dawn Anderson was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday March 7, 2021, surrounded by her family.

Amber was born June 28, 1978 in Decatur, Illinois to Larry and Nancy Ward, the first of three children. Amber dedicated her life to the Lord and was baptized as a young teen. Amber and her family later moved to Milton, Florida where she attended Milton High School. After graduation Amber received her Associates Degree from PJC.

Amber and her husband Richard have a daughter Geneva Nannette Anderson. Amber loved planning vacations, traveling and trying out new restaurants. They loved to travel on cruises and were annual passholders to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Bush Gardens. They also loved going to Florida Gator football games in The Swamp. Amber had a creative mind and loved crafting! Amber also had many nieces and nephews whom she loved and spoiled by doing crafts, baking and surprising them with special treats. The last six months of her life she got to enjoy her dream job by working for her father’s Event Wood shop.

Amber is preceded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Kearns and her Grandpa Ward.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Anderson; daughter, Genny Anderson; parents, Larry and Nancy Ward; sister, Alesha Jernigan (Jason); brother, Alex Ward (Brittany); Grandma, Carol Ward; Great Granny, Evelyn Martin; father and mother-in-law, Ron and Laurine Anderson; sister-in-laws, Jackie Alderman (Jason), and Bobbie Harrington (Casey); 9 nieces and 2 nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins and her fur babies Hunnee and Pennee.

A public visitation will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Pensacola (60 Industrial Blvd) on Saturday, March 13th at 11:30am, with the service to follow at 12:30. After the service, the burial will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on Pine Forest Road.
