ECSO: Cantonment Woman Punched And Spit On ‘Frail’ Elderly Woman After Parking Lot Wreck

A Cantonment woman is facing charges after allegedly punching a “frail” elderly woman in the face and spitting on her after a minor vehicle collision in a local Dollar General Parking lot.
Allisha Dawn Jarvis, 25, was charged with battery on a person 65 years old or older.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the Dollar General at Highway 29 and North Tate School Road to find a 72-year old woman in the parking lot bleeding from her nose. She told deputies she was turning around in the parking lot when she accidently hit a Ford Expedition that was leaving the parking lot.
The victim stated she was still in her vehicle when Jarvis approached and “violently punched” her in the face through a rolled-down window before spitting on her, according to an arrest report.
Jarvis told deputies that she walked up to the victim’s vehicle window and cussed at the elderly woman, but she stated she never punched her in the face, the report states.
An Escambia County Sheriff’s Office deputy wrote in his report that the victim was “extremely frail” at 5-foot, three-inches tall and weighing only about 90 pounds. Jarvis, the report states, is about the same height and weighs 147 pounds.
The deputy stated the elderly woman had a slight cut on her nose that was bleeding and “you could clearly see dried spit on her collar.”
A witness confirmed the victim’s statements.
Jarvis was later released from the Escambia County Jail on a $7,500 bond.

This is a perfect example of the time out generation. This woman’s parents probably did not believe in spanking. They obviously did not believe in teaching respect. And a $7500 bond? What is wrong with that judge? They gave Lassiter a million dollar bond for defending himself just the other day.

If you want to talk fatality rates yes that is highest among drivers 80 years rivers 80 years act that they are old and more frail and usually have underlying condition that make it hard for them to overcome injuries may have something to do with this.
So, I said all that to say this, JFK, young people need to be careful when driving, and not be so violent. I know some 70-year-olds that would have popped a cap in her.

That STILL doesn’t make them IN Cantonment. It STILL doesn’t make 9 Mile Road IN Cantonment. Which precinct something is located in does NOT make it have a different name.
It is so sad that children are not taught to respect the elderly more often. No matter if there was a minor accident …it is never good to use violence against an elderly person. She was in her car and posed no threat…I am glad there were witnesses to support the womans story and help her until cops arrived.
She better be glad this wasn’t my grandmother..I would catch a charge. How stinking trashy can you possibly be to spit on anyone, much less an elderly lady!! And then to punch her! Wow you are so classy that’s for sure.
@ just saying, the reason they said that is because the precinct in molino is called the cantonment molino precinct. I’d you look at the Publix at 9 mile and pine forest it has a cantonment address, as well as some other places on 9 mile, in the 5th precinct there are three Tom thumbs, 2 in cantonment, west Robert’s, Woodbury, then one in molino at hwy 97 cut off, but all are in the 5th precinct.
Google her name. This ain’t her first go ’round with violence. Hope she gets a good long time to think about what she did.

That’s because they’re calling a HUGE geographic area Cantonment. 9 ½ Mile Road…is now considered Cantonment. Gonzalez, part of Ensley, part of Molino…they’re all called Cantonment now.
I called the sheriff’s department to the Tom Thumb just south of the paper mill. I told the dispatcher that it was the Tom Thumb in Cantonment. She said which one? I told her there was only one, and she told me there were THREE! When I asked her where the other 2 were, she said, “There’s the one at the Hwy 97 and Hwy 29 intersection, one at Hwy 29 and Tate School Road and one at West Roberts Road.” Hwy 29/97-Molino Cutoff is…Molino. West Roberts is SOUTH of Gonzalez.
No wonder it seems like a lot is happening in “Cantonment”.
I can’t believe how some people have no respect !! She is the age of my children, and if one of mine did that, they would want to go to jail before I found out!! They should up her charges to aggravated assault, due to the age of the woman and the pandemic!!

This is my mother in law that was hit and spat on. I want to say thank you to all who helped her during this very scary and upsetting event. I pray for this young lady to understand that violence and disrespect are never the answer to any situation.

The thing that really bothers me about this story are the witnesses. Why weren’t they active participants, helping this elderly lady. Smh

First I am so upset with this young person. I hope your grandparents are still living and they hear what you have done. I think the judge should order you to call them in front of court room full of people and tell them what you have done. For what ever reason you acted like this I pray you were not raised this way. I had a little old man back into me at walmart super center. Was I upset yes til I seen who it was. He was more upset then then I could have ever been. He called his insurance company right then. They took care of everything for him and myself. Now I don’t think if there was much damage to your SUV her insurance should pay for it. Maybe that would teach you a lesson. My prayers to this victim. I wish I had been in that parking lot.
