Frontier Customers In Walnut Hill, Bratt, Molino Atmore Without Phone Service For Days

December 31, 2020

Frontier Communications customers in Escambia counties in Florida and Alabama have been without telephone service for days.

Most, if not all, Frontier landline customers in the Walnut Hill, Bratt, Molino and Atmore exchanges lost phone service on Saturday. Some have had service restored, but most remained out Wednesday.

“We are aware of a service outage affecting customers in the area of Escambia County in Alabama and Florida,” Bob Elek, Frontier director of public relations for the south region, told NorthEscambia.com. “Frontier’s engineering and tech teams are working non-stop to resolve the issue and restore service as quickly as possible. We thank our customers for their patience.”

Elek said it was possible that a Christmas Day explosion outside a major AT&T hub in Nashville was to blame, but that he had not received any confirmation to that effect.

The Nashville explosion on Christmas day led to service disruptions across parts of Alabama, Tennessee and Kentucky as battery backups failed. AT&T said Tuesday that almost all service had been restored.

Officials said 911 service continued to operate during the period for Frontier customers in both states.

Run a string with two cans between Atmore and Wawbeek.

How did we manage to get saddled with a penny stock such as “Frontier”.

THE SOLUTION TO FRONTIER’S SHODDY SERVICE. After many years of shoddy service, unexplained rate increases and charges, hours of waiting on the phone for a CSR. I solved my problems with Frontier in less than five minutes. I cut their wires off my house and quit paying them. Now I am saving money and the stress of dealing with Frontier by utilizing alternative phone and internet services.

Frontier is a broke company. I know because I had 200 shares of stock in it.

This is not Heaven. Things happen. Things break. My main complaint is prices going up and equipment not kept up to date. Things can only be patched so long. The other is that when there is an outage……..many times……….You call and are given “a ticket number”and are told that they are working on it. …… AFTER they have YOU do tests on your own phone………….INSTEAD of just being truthful and TELLING you that THEY have a problem and are working on it. THAT would probably HELP people have more patience. In fact, in THIS world nowdays TRUTH would go a long way in a thing called “TRUST,” which I have very little of anymore. Most of my life I had too much trust. Having little now after having being lied to and deceived more and more year after year, I am not a trusting person any more. The only one that CAN be totally trusted is God. And, fewer and fewer believe that. And, maybe THAT is why people are just AFRAID to tell the truth.

the damage in tennessee to a at&t building would not have anything to do with local service at frontier. if service is working in atmore, flomaton, and bayminette it should work in walnut hill.

I’m surprised to see Frontier is having ANY complications with service. Copper plant got “DIAMONDS” all over it.
