Steve “Stevie” Eric Coleman

After a courageous battle with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Steve “Stevie” Eric Coleman, 56, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at his home in Lafayette, La.

Steve was born on December 13, 1963 in Pensacola, Fl to Barbara Jean and Linnis E. Coleman.

Stevie, was exceptionally talented. He could draw beautifully and play the guitar. He had the ability to make people laugh and feel comfortable. Stevie made his living behind the wheel of Big Trucks. He traveled most every inch of this country behind the wheel of a Semi. Many miles were logged with his two favorite companions his beautiful Redhead (Tammy) that he adored, and his faithful dog “BB.”

Steve is survived by his father and stepmother Linnis E. and Annie Coleman. Also left to cherish his memory is his inconsolable wife Tamara Coleman, daughters, Lacey (Derrick)Robin, Heather (Justin)Stewart, Shana, Tawny, Courtney, and sons Clell, Travis, and James. 7 Granddaughters and 4 Grandsons. 11 Sisters, 2 Brothers and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

He was predeceased by his Mother Barbara J. Warren, Stepfather George H. Warren, Maternal Grandparents Ruby Moye Farrow, Collis O. Farrow, Paternal Grandparents Lela Eddins Coleman and Franklin Coleman.

There will be a private burial at Travelers Rest Cemetery in Flomaton, Al.
