Mrs. Marie Mitchell, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at her home in Atmore, Alabama.

Mrs. Mitchell was a native and life-long resident of Atmore, Alabama. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren dearly and was of the Assembly of God Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, J.P. and Eunice Hobbs.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, John Mitchell of Atmore, AL; three sons, Keith Mitchell of Atmore, AL, Ronnie Mitchell of Atmore, AL and Mike Mitchell of Wetumpka, AL and four grandchildren, Brad Mitchell of Dothan, AL, Tyler Mitchell of Auburn, AL, Travis Mitchell of Dothan, AL and Rachel Mitchell of Wetumpka, AL.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Gipson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Serenity Garden Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Brad Mitchell, Tyler Mitchell, Travis Mitchell, Riley Mitchell, Murvin Gipson and Jack Mitchell.
